Wri te your Regi str ati on Number on pages 1, 2 & 29 as well as th e accomp anying P rin ted Answer Sheet. 3. The ques ti on pap er consist s of two parts. Par t I is Obj ecti ve type. There are 5 Sections (Sections I-V) comprising of 122 Objective type questions. Part II is Descriptive type. There are 2 Sections (Sections VI-VII) comprising of 17 Descriptive type questions. 4. Answer all questions. 5. THERE IS NO NEGAT IVE MARKING. 6. Specif ic instr uct ion s are gi ven i n the beg inn ing of each Sect ion . Read them c areful ly and answer accordingly. 7. In res pect o f obje cti ve typ e questio ns, th e stud ent s are re qui red t o shad e the app rop ria te ovals on a separate printed answer sheet provided for the purpose. No additional answer sheet will be giv en. As the obj ective typ e ques ti on-answer wi ll be evaluated by the Scanner, complying with the following instructions is very important: * Before answeri ng, read the details print ed on the answ er sheet caref ully. * Wr it e your Regi stration Numb er in the appr opriate Squares as well as shade the corresponding Ovals. * Use only HB Penci l for shadi ng insid e the Ovals . * Eras e clearl y any answer c hoice you wish to chan ge. * Indi cate only one answer by shading from the opti ons provid ed. If more than one oval is shaded, the answer for that question will not be evaluated. * The Answer Ovals should be shaded completely without leavi ng any space. * The complete ly shade d answer will be taken as final. * Do not make stray marks . No rough work shall be done on the answer sheet. * Handl e the sheet wi th care. Do not fold/ stapl e. * If nee ded, c onsult the In vigil ator. * Those questions which are no t marked as per the inst ructions, wi ll not be e valuated. In respect of descriptive part, all the candidates are required to write legibly (in pen only) in the space provided in the question paper booklet itself. 8. Based on the per formance of candidat es in the Ob jectiv e Par t of the question pape r, a preliminary list in order of merit will be prepared. Out of this list, the descriptive part of the candidates will be evaluated at the rate of 1:30 (i.e. the seat: the candidates) to begin with. If the difference of marks is too narrow or too close, then the descriptive part of such answer scripts will also be evaluated to the extent necessary. The Law School will retain the right not to evaluate the descriptive part of answer scripts of those candidates who have absolutely no chance of making it to selection list on their performance in objective part. 9.
