1. Regular Activity

June-2015th1. On 18 June 2015 NSS had organised expert talk on “Importance of Yoga and Health” by Dr.

Pravin Deshpande.

st2. On 21 Jun 2015 NSS had celeberated “Intenatinal Yoga Day” in association with Patanjali

Dham Yogpith, Nashik Centre.

3. During 22-27 Jun. 2015 NSS had collected student’s information who are willing to work as

Volunteer and Police Mitra during Kumbhamela.

July 2015th

4. On 20 July 2015 NSS had organised

Tree plantation activity at Khambale

near Vaitarna dam 45 km away from our

college. 180 NSS volunteers were

plated fifteen different types of approx.

2000 saplings in the six hours of

shramdan.

th5. 30 July 2015 NSS had celebrated “Guru Purnima” by offering flowers to all staff members

of our institute.

August 2015th

6. On Tuesday, 4 Aug. 2015 NSS had organized expert talk on “Gender Equality and

Women Safety” by Dr. Ajinkya H. Patil (Ph. D. from Groningen University, Netherland and

Coordinator Youth Program, Anti Dowry Movement, India).

th7. On Wednesday, 19 Aug. 2015 NSS has organized an expert lecture on topic “Vedant and

Science” by Swami Nirbhaynanda (Famous Spiritual Guru and Religious Speaker). In this

event Swami Nirbhayananda felicitated to members of student Council.

th8. On 20 Aug. 2015 NSS had celebrated Sadbhavana Diwas. All staff members and students

offered Sadbhavana pledge to promote national integrity and communal harmony among all

people.

9. On 28 and 29 Aug. 2015 NSS had

arranged “Free Drinking Water

Stall” for the pilgrims coming to

Nashik for Kumbhamela Parvani.

Total 40 NSS Volunteers served

free drinking water of 7500 lit. to

about 30,000 pilgrims.

st10. On 31 August 2015 two NSS volunteers (Daware Rahul Mahadev and Sanjay Singh)

participated in NRD/SRD Pre-selection Camp at ASC College, Lasalgaon. Mr. Sanjay

Singh was selected for next camp at SPPU, Pune.

nd11. On 2 Sept. 2015 Mr. Sanjay Singh participated in NRD/SRD selection camp at SPPU,

Pune.

th15. NSS Inauguration Function and Induction Meeting for AY 2015-16 is organized on 16 Sept.

16. On 17 and 18 Sept. 2015 (i.e 3 Shahi Parvni) 30 NSS volunteers participated in Free

Drinking Water Supply activity.st nd17. On 21 and 22 Sept. 2015 NSS has organized “Free Eye Check up Camp” in association

with Susheel Eye Institute, Nashik. Total 885 students participated in this camp.

nd18. On 22 Sept. 2015 NSS and Karmaveer Boys hostel jointly organized Blood donation camp

in association with Civil Hospital Blood bank. In this camp 281 donors participated.

th19. On 27 Sept. 2015 NSS volunteers executed Eco-friendly Ganapati Visarjan activity at

Ramkund, Godavari Nashik. Volunteers collected more than 900 ganesh murties and handed

over to Nashik Muncipal Corporation; thereby helped to prevent pollution of Godavari

River.

20. On 2 Oct. 2015 NSS celebrated Mahatma Gandhi Jayanti and conducted Swachhata

activity in the institute.

th21. On 5 Oct. 2015 NSS voluntters collected Dhwaj Nidhi of Rs. 23,945/- and handed over this

amount to Maji Sainik Karyalay, Nashik. th

22. On 30 Oct. 2015 Harshali Damodar Ghule participated in District level Swachhata Mitra nd

Elocution Competition and owned 2 Prize.

December 2015rd23. On 23 Dec. 2015 Harshali Damodar Ghule participated in inter University Elocution at

SPPU, Pune.th24. On 24 Dec. 2015 Harshali Damodar Ghule participated in District level declamation contest

storganized by Nehru Yuva Kendra Nashik. She owned 1 prize. th th

25. NSS special winter camp was organized between 19 to 25 Dec. 2015 at Vilholi.th

26. On 30 Dec. 2015 NSS volunteers gifted 250 Gadage Baba’s Prabhodha calendars to all

participants of Zonal Science Exhibition at K. K. Wagh Polytechnic, Nashik.

January 2016rd27. From 3 Jan. 2016 NSS volunteers (25) are taking Basari taining from Mr. Anil Kute.

th28. On 12 Jan. 2016 NSS had celebrated Yuva Din (Vivekanand Jayanti) and Jijamata Jayanti

by rally. Also distributed copy of ‘Words of Swami Vivekanand’ to all staff members.

th29. On 12 Jan. 2016 Harshali Ghule participated in inter University Elocution competition

organised by Anti Dowry Movement, Bombay at Bombay. She had represented SPPU, Pune

and owned third prize.th

30. On 13 Jan. 2016 NSS volunteers performed drama: “Legend Returns” at Maffick

32. During 5 to 7 Feb. 2016 NSS Volunteer Harshali D. Ghule participated in Inter-University

Camp “Utkarsh-2016” held at Mahatma Phule Agriculture University, Rahuri.th

33. On 6 Feb 2016 NSS has organised expert talk by Dr. Ramchandra Godbole (Social worker

at Chhatisgad) on “Role of NSS in rural development of Adiwashi samaj”

34. Patil Mayuri and Sumit Vyas participated in University level NSS camp at Kondivade th th

villege organised by Wadia College during 6 to 8 Feb 2016.th35. Vaishnavi Fartale and Aishwarya Vairagkar participated in Nirbhay Kanya Abhiyan on 11

Feb. 2016 at College of Pharmacy Nashik.

36. NSS volunteers actively participated in residential camp during 8 to 12 Feb 2016 at Borvat

Govt. Ashram Shala (Tal. Peth) organised by Prayas Youth Forum, Nashik.

38. During 3 to 5 March 2016 three NSS Volunteers (Shweta Sonawane, Vaishnavi Fartale and

Rahul Daware) participated in Gadsawrdhan Camp at ASC College Narayangaon, Dist.

39. On 5 March 2016 two NSS volunteers (Sanjay Singh and Megha Patel) participated in Value

Education workshop at ASC College Deolali, Nashik road.th40. On 8 March 2016 NSS celebrated “Women’s Day” by offering flowers and greeting to all

lady staff members.th41. On 10 March 2016 five NSS volunteers (Sayali Aher, Diwyani Chavan, Sakshi Patil,

Kalyani Jain and Rahul Daware) participated in Swachha Bharat workshop at ASC College

Pimpalgaon.

42. Vaishnavi Fartale and Sumit Vyas presented paper on “Successful Implementation of Prime

Minister Schemes for Rural Area through National Service Scheme” for two days program th th

43. On 21 March 2016 NSS and Jalsampada Dept. Nashik jointly organasize Water Literacy

Event in which all staff and students of institute had taken ‘Water Saving Pledge’.nd44. On 22 March 2016 Rohit Hyalij and Poonam Ahire participated in one day seminar

organised by AVCOE, Sangamner .
