    Following the request regarding the implementation ofDirectives requirements the necessary regulations andadministrative provisions brought into force by theRomanian health authorities by issuing the OrderOrder

    no.1542/2006no.1542/2006 of the Ministry of Health.

    The provisions of this regulation establish aestablish a

    mechanism to collect and to report the patients dosesmechanism to collect and to report the patients doses

    at the national levelat the national level, involving in this process all thediagnostic radiology, nuclear medicine andradiotherapy departments within the country.

    RESPONSIBILITIESRESPONSIBILITIES

    In order to harmonize at the national level the reportingsystem, the Order no. 1003/2008Order no. 1003/2008 of the Ministry of Healthhas been published.

    The license holder shall centralize the data at theinstitution level

    The centralized data shall be reported quarterly by thelicense holder to the Ionizing Radiation HygieneLaboratory based on territorial assignation. The IonizingRadiation Hygiene Laboratory forwards the centralizeddata to the county public health

    The Institute of Public Health BucharestInstitute of Public Health Bucharest centralizesthe collected data reported by counties and Bucharest,issues an annually report which is forwarded to thedifferent stockholders.
