Genesis 1:1

What are our Genes? They are four proteins, (the pairs A-T and G-C), which are used to build DNA as the computer uses the numbers 0 and 1 to build a program.

Human genome The human genome is the genome of Homo sapiens. It is made up of 23 chromosome pairs with a total of about 3 billion DNA base pairs. There are 24 distinct human chromosomes: 22 autosomal chromosomes, plus the sex-determining X and Y chromosomes. Chromosomes 1-22 are numbered roughly in order of decreasing size. Somatic cells usually have one copy of chromosomes 1-22 from each parent, plus an X chromosome from the mother, and either an X or Y chromosome from the father, for a total of 46.

There are an estimated 20,000-25,000 human protein-coding genes. The estimate of the number of human genes has been repeatedly revised down from initial predictions of 100,000 or more as genome sequence quality and gene finding methods have improved, and could continue to drop further.

Genes(DNA) is a Code like the human Alphabet .

Only the Creator can create this code! As people create an alphabet for their words.

Temperance: Temperance is liable to lead to misunderstanding. True temperance is not to prevent us from doing something as we want, but to do naturally what our genes truly need. The principle of temperance is essential to all the living things. If we break the principle, we will lose our lives. It is especially difficult to be moderate when we feel stressed.

Air : Air is the more essential resource to our body than any other substances. It is needless to say that we cannot live without air. Fresh air reinforces the function of the immune system as well as the effect of counteracting poison. Moreover, air is indispensable to produce energy such as ATP(adenosine triphosphate) in the mitochondria of our cells.

Rest: 休息 : 휴식

When we feel weary, nothing is more precious than rest. Even though God really loves to repair our damaged genes, we don't let God repair them at all. God must be so sad, because He is love itself and the love-giver. Rest is also essential to our body, and it is more important to rest every seventh day. It turned out to be quite true by modern medical scientists. After working hard for 6 days, we are able to enjoy the sweetest rest in the world. Rest is more precious than any other restorative.

The answer is that there must be a Creator who takes good care of every part of our body as well as our soul. He protects our body every moment of our life. He transmits the wave of love to our genes. The wave transmitted to us by Him is invisible powerful energy. Only if we are willing to receive the wave that He has already given to us all, He will console us in our sorrow friendly, restore our genes to previous normal genes accurately, and give us new life eternally.

How is Cancer Treated by Modern Medicine?

After a diagnosis of cancer is made, treatment by modern medicine focuses on destroying or removing the cancer cells. Standard treatments include chemotherapy and radiation therapy, which are designed to penetrate the body and kill the cancer cell genes. If this were the only effect on the body, there would be little concern about undergoing these treatments. However, the problem is that radiation and chemotherapy cannot differentiate cancer cells from normal healthy cells. The genes of both cancer cells and normal cells share the same chemical composition of DNA. Therefore, radiation and chemotherapy mount an indiscriminate attack on both cancer cells and normal cells in the body.

Common side effects of chemotherapy and radiation such as hair loss, nausea, fatigue, and weakness are evidence of normal cells being destroyed in areas where cells are rapidly dividing, such as skin, hair, bone marrow, and the lining of your mouth and digestive system.

Unfortunately, these treatment methods also destroy white blood cells that make up our immune systems. White blood cells defend our body against infections, and produce T-lymphocytes (T-cells) that fight cancer cells. Radiation and chemotherapy destroy white blood cells, dropping the white blood cell count. A normal white blood cell level is around 10000, and a level that falls below 2000 can lead to serious illness or death.

Another common treatment for cancer is surgery, which physically removes the cancer and its surrounding tissues. This prevents the cancer from spreading to other tissues. Are we free from cancer after surgery? Not really, especially if you consider the reason why the cancer developed

in the first place. Cancer develops from an unhealthy life style. Genetic factors also play a role but by and large, cancer will not develop if we maintain a proper, healthy lifestyle. Even if we are born with cancer genes, we can still live cancer-free as long as we provide a healthy environment for our bodies to grow and function properly. Modern medicine generally views cancer as being successfully treated if the patient survives for five years after the treatment. This is based on statistical prognosis. For example, a patient with early stage breast cancer and no evidence of metastasis to other organs would likely undergo surgery. The patient may also undergo chemotherapy for several months to ensure adequate treatment. Over the next five years, the patient would have regular follow-up and monitoring. At the end of the five year period, if there has been no evidence of recurrence of the cancer, the patient is assumed to be cured. The patient is led to believe that she is free from cancer, but in many cases patients have a recurrence of cancer following a remission of over five years.

The main cause of recurrence of cancer is that the patient has not changed his or her life style. As long as the patient continues a lifestyle that favors and encourages cancer development, modern medicine cannot provide assurances that the disease is indeed cured.
