SURFACE PREPARATION• Test a small area before use, to ensure the final result is satisfactory.• Remove surface contamination. Surface should be clean, free from dust, dirt, oil, efflorescence, organic growth, algae and mould should be treated. Clean Seal Algae Remover is ideal.

APPLICATIONNatural Stone Sealer is ready to use and should notbe diluted.1. Shake container before use. Do not pour directly on to paving.2. For best results, apply saturated coats with a garden sprayer, overlapping each pass as you go. A brush or long pile roller can also be used.3. Always ensure very porous surfaces such as Limestone, sandstone etc have a minimum of 2 to 3 saturated coats

CLEANING OF EQUIPMENTRemove as much product as possible from application equipment before cleaning. Clean tools and equipment immediately after use with soapy water.

CURING2-4 hours, water repellence is evident after initial curing but may take up to 7 days to reach 100% efficiency.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

How long will it last?Clean Seal Natural Stone Sealer impregnates into the surface to give long lasting protection, it will not wear off quickly like traditional varnish type coatings.

Can I overcoat a previously sealed surface?Its always best to remove old coatings before applying an impregnating sealer.

What are the drying times?Drying times are dependant on temperature, examples are -• 25°c, dry day, the product will dry in 2-3 hours, leave 12 hours before vehicle access.• 10°c, damp day, the product will dry in 4 hours, leave 24 hours before vehicle access.

Its rained before the product was dry?The product should only be applied in dry weather, when rain is not expected for 24 hours. If it does rain before the coating is dry you may need to apply a further coat once the area has dried out. Always test a small area before proceeding to the whole area.

Can I apply Natural stone sealer to brick and concrete?Yes,its a top of the range non silicone, impregnation sealer, its fully breathable so it can be applied to most absorbent substrates to give long lasting, easy clean performance.

How do I maintain Natural stone sealer?Oil and grease should be removed straight away with a good quality detergent or oil and grease remover. Maintenance is best with a mild neutral cleaner and clean water.

How do I reapply in say 3-5 years?Natural stone sealer is easy to reapply, simply clean the surface and apply a generous coat, no need to remove the previous coat of Natural Stone Sealer–test a small area first.

Will Natural stone sealer turn white?No.

Will Natural stone sealer stop freeze-thaw damage?Yes, it seals the capillaries in the substrate to stop the ingress of water that can freeze and cause flaking and cracking.

Why do I need to add more coats to very absorbent surfaces?Absorbent surfaces have much deeper capillaries than normal surfaces, this is reason why they are more difficult to clean, Clean seal natural stone sealer lines these capillaries with an easy clean nano layer, the more absorbent to stone the more the capillaries will absorb.

BEFORE TREATMENTEnsure that the surface to be treated is clean and free of any contaminants including oil, grease, algae and efflorescence This product is not suitable if surfaces have been treated previously with a silicone or stearate based water repellent

APPLICATION• Shake container before use• Natural Stone Sealer is supplied ready to use and should not be diluted.• Do not pour directly on to paving. • For best results, apply 2 saturated coats with a garden sprayer, overlapping each pass as you go• A brush or long pile roller can also be used • Always ensure very porous surfaces such as limestone,sandstone etc have a minimum of 2 to 3 saturated coats• Each coat should be applied whilst the previous coat is still damp, mop up pooling as you go.

IMPORTANT• Do not apply when ambient/surface temperature is below +10ºC• Do not apply in wet weather, when rain is imminent or before surface is completely dry• Optimum performance is reached after 2-3 days. Allow product to cure overnight before subjecting to heavy use – increase this time in cold, damp conditions• Always test a small inconspicuous area before use to ensure surface compatibility, performance and finish/texture is acceptable• Not suitable for non porous surfaces e.g. quarry tiles, engineering bricks, polished or glazed surfaces• Keep pets away until surface is fully dry• Protect from frost and store above +5ºC in ventilated area away from heat source
