Tribe Traditions There are over 24 chant way ceremonies.Baby first laugh, which is when you make a baby laugh you have to help the family.Kinalda is when a girl goes through puberty.

What did they eat The principal food is mutton boiled. It also is corn prepared in many different ways. Other foods they ate were many types of meat . They also grew there own food for themselves. Last they also ate fish.

The Navajo tribe live in many different places . Such as Arizona and New Mexico . They also live in Utah and Colorado . They mainly lived in Arizona. Where did they live?

The Navajo boys wore breechcloths. Also girls made skirts out of woven yucca fiber. Last shirts were not necessary in Navajo culture.

How big the tribe is It was the biggest tribe in the Utah area. They had over 250,000 people. They all lived in four different states but in small parts.

Information About the Tribe Their were 400 people trained to use Navajo code to help the U.S.A in World War 2. In Navajo language Anasazi means ancient ones. Last the Navajo gave the Anasazi there name.
