Dear guest Thank you for you time and interest in our services. Over the last 12 years, close to 100 000 sailors have tried one of our Navigare yachts! Now with bases in six different countries and a fleet of approx. 150 yachts we hope to be able to accommodate most of your sailing wishes.

At Navigare we try to combine the advantages of a larger fleet, like good processes and scale advantages, with the essential local experience from many different countries. You as a guest will always be at the centre of our attention. Having said that, unfortunately equipment on yachts do break, we pride ourselves always to do our best to, as quickly as possible, find a solution to your problem.

We focus on the details. At Navigare, the plotter is always located in the cockpit where it is most useful and the yacht is equipped with that extra mooring rope or stern fender needed. In every yacht there is a local GSM phone to reach the base cost free, a welcome pack waiting for you and in case needed, the blankets tucked into the duvet covers.

The core and heart of this company rests upon all our service minded and hard working co-workers. Without our now over 60 full time employees and as many seasonally employed we could never have gotten to be were we are today. Thank you all!

We expect that our guests will want to go to new destinations and to be able to sail the latest models from the leading European yards, so we keep developing in order to meet your challenging demands. At the same time you will expect us to keep up the good service and quality on the existing yachts and bases. We will try to do all this…and a little more!

Come sail with us, let’s experience together.

GREECE AND ITS ISLANDSINFORMATION ABOUT THE ISLANDSThe Greek Islands are a collection of over 6,000 islands and islets that belong to Greece. Only 227 of the islands are inhabited, and only 78 of those have more than 100 inhabitants. The diversity and endless islands to explore make Greece a fantastic sailing destination. Greek seas are safe and the distances are small so it is easy to make a route suitable for individual needs and taste.

The small distances between the islands allow for both shorter weekend, or longer several weeks itineraries. The beaches, caves, hot spring and sea life to explore are endless; there is something for everyone. Those that want party will head straight for Cyclades and Mykonos/Ios while those looking for magical beaches will go straight to Milos.

Greek ports are usually small and not too modern but they offer a great charm along with extremely cheap harbour fees. Learning – they say that each day you learn something new. This is true about Greece – even the most experienced sailor will learn something new sailing around the Greek harbors and adapting to the local customs. Sailing in Greece will enable you to see more places and pay less!.

Ferries, transfer and hotel in each place would cost a lot more than unpacking once in your own comfortable yacht!

The climate in Greece is primarily Mediterranean which means that it has many hours of sunshine throughout the year; its winters are mild and rainy and summers hot and dry.

Mild winters are particularly characteristic of the south of the country and its islands, while the country’s northern regions and mountainous areas are much colder and often snow-

covered in the winter months. The rainy season starts in November and usually lasts until March. Summers in Greece are very hot, but the meltemi northern winds offer the much needed relief from the heat.

Temperatures in January range between 5.4 °C and 13.3 °C. July and August are the hottest months with temperatures reaching 30°C to 35°C.

CROATIAMORE THAN THOUSAND ISLANDSSplit - Kastela, Along the coast between Trogir and Split lies the beautiful town of Kastela where we have our base. It is only a 15-minute drive from Split airport to marina Kastela and the heart of the Croatian archipelago. This is an ideal point to start and end your cruise as you can sail southeast to find the beautiful, green islands. Distances are short and the old seaports of Hvar, Korcula and Dubrovnik offer it´s charm.

Sibenik, Sibenik is known for its medieval fortresses, national parks, the UNESCO- protected St James cathedral (St Jakov) and the waterfalls of Krka. The Kornati archipelago has been named the best sailing region in the world by National Geographic! Our base in the area is located in Marina Mandalina - the perfect starting point for a cruise in the region. The unique archipelago boasts both a nature reserve and a marine national park where the islands offer a barren landscape, sharply contrasting the deep blue sea

and sky. The area has many charming harbours and relaxing bays (entrance fees apply).

It is only a 7-minute drive from Split airport to Kastela and the heart of the Croatian archipelago. SAILING ROUTESSpreading over two continents, Turkey is a place where East meets West. The mere fact that this country is surrounded by four seas makes it a perfect sailing destination. This intriguing country offers you everything from ancient culture and sensational cuisine to peaceful coastal villages and busy stylish marinas. Satisfy your senses!

Turkey, Göcek, just 25 km away from Dalaman International Airport. The marina has a beautiful setting in the bay, one of the Mediterranean’s best sailing spots, charming with its pine trees and beaches with crystal clear waters. The surroundings call for a stroll or a dip in the sea and the marina is very modern and offers all facilities. Useful information, Provisioning; there are two alternatives in Pupa marina Marmaris. You can take a taxi (taxi station outside Pupa Hotel) to a big supermarket in Marmaris, it takes about

20 minutes and cost about 50 lira. The other alternative is free transport to a small minimarket across the bay but with a lot less products and more expensive. Generally however food is pretty cheap in supermarkets and in restaurants. Beer, wine and alcohol cost approximately as Northern Europe, not so cheap.

In average class restaurants a main course is about 15-25 lira. It is usually free for the mooring of your yacht if you eat in the restaurant that is in connection with the“jetty” (small pier usually without water and electricity). In bigger places where there is water and electricity it cost around 35 lira /night. Many small restaurants in connection with jettys are pretty expensive so the price is about the same if you go to a bigger place and eat in a better restaurant in town.

The climate in Turkey is diverse and ranges from Mediterranean to Continental. Summer temperatures in some parts of the country reach +40°C. The coast bordering the Aegean and the Mediterranean Sea

has a mild Mediterranean climate and those coastal areas on the Black Sea have a temperate Oceanic climate.

The weather

Swedish climate ranges from oceanic to continental and subarctic climate. However, thanks to the Gulf

Stream, the country is overall warmer and drier than it would be expected given its location.

Summer temperatures in Stockholm are between 20 and 25 ° C, and days are 18 hours long in the period

between mid-June and mid-August.

SWEDISH ARCHIPELAGOArchipelago is a phenomenon in itself, but nothing is like the archipelago of Stockholm. With 24.000 islands and unique environment this is a place any person with a genuine sailing interest should visit. Stockholm’s archipelago is mostly famous for its clean, crisp and peaceful nature along with its large number of islands. Because of the size of the archipelago it is easy to find a quiet place where you can enjoy the silence and your solitude. If looking for movement, there are many places that offer restaurants, hotels, shopping and night life. Though the warm season in Sweden may be short the archipelago is beautiful all year around. For the more courageous sailor many islands keep their activity going during the winter period as well. But of course it is mostly known for its green summers.

The Port, Stockholm is located on the east coast of Sweden. Lidingö-Gåshaga charter base is located about 14 km from the city center of Stockholm and about 49 km from Stockholm Arlanda Airport. It is about 110 km from Stockholm Skavsta Airport. It is about 20 km from Stockholm Bromma Airport.

The Östgöta archipelago, apart from the famous Stockholm archipelago, Sweden boasts other remarkable stretches of island-speckled sea.

One of them is the beautiful Östgöta Archipelago stretching from Bråviken in the north to Valdermarsvik in the south, which actually consists of three archipelagos: Gryt, and Tjust, St. Anna and Arkösund.

The weather

WEATHER INFORMATIONThe wintertime at BVI is set by what some call “high season,” a term used to signify the busy time of the year for the highest number of visitors visiting the BVI.

December 15 through April 15 is the high season, with the weather being the optimum, especially for those coming from the frigid temperatures back home.

Pre-high season begins around mid-November with the daytime temperatures around 30°C (85°F) and lowering to the mid 24°C (70’s) at night.

Come summertime, around June, things begin to change into the warmer temperatures. Temperatures tend to go into the over 30°C (high 80’s °F) during the day and dropping to the high 20’s °C (high 70’s °F) at night.

Keep in mind nearly year round the trade winds that come off the African coast keeps the humidity factor way down. July through mid-September can be on the warm side, daytime temperatures reaching the low 90’s and the night time temperatures dipping into the low 80’s.

July to October is our hurricane season. Whilst many people are concerned to charter during this time, there really is a very low chance of a hurricane affecting your vacation.

In the unusual event of a hurricane heading directly for the islands, we may need to call the boat back in. We will help you to find a hotel, at your expense, and you will be refunded, or offered credit, for lost time on the boat, during the period we have recalled the boat. Circumstances permitted, once the storm has passed you will be able to continue your charter as normal.

YACHTS SALESThe group of companies operates out of Sweden, Norway, Greece, Croatia, Turkey, BVI and Thailand. The parent company is Swedish and Navigare is in charge of the booking process with customers in Sweden and Norway.

Jesper Rönngard and Per Abrahamsson have been working in the Swedish charter business since the mid-nineties and founded Navigare Yachting AB in 2001. Since then, the business has boomed and today it has more than fifty full-time employees and an equal number of seasonal employees, boasting a turnover of nearly 15 million euro. Navigare has more than 150 yachts at its different sites. Most of the boats are financed by Swedish and Norwegianprivate persons who through their own means or through acompany have invested in the boats via Navigare’s subsidiaries.

Quality and serviceQuality and customer service are at the heart of Navigare Yachting. More than just a turn of phrase, this embodies the values which permeate every aspect of the or- ganisation. Our most powerful marketing tool is word of mouth; satisfied customers recommend us to friends and family. To uphold our reputation, the boats must be in top condition and the customer service flawless during the booking process and on site. Your boat will therefore be ser- viced in the best possible way. In addition, for every boat a generous sum is reserved for maintenance, which guarantees a high standard and increased resale value.

Furthermore, Swedish staff is employed at all of our sites who take care of both the customers and your boat in the best possible way in line with Swedish standards.

MaintenanceAt Navigare, we take maintenance very seriously. Our charter customers expect the boats to be in top condition, and to meet these requirements we carry out winter servicing and regular maintenance. Each of our boats has a “service book” in which all servicing and repairs are logged, as well as any damage to the boat during its lifetime. This will also provide future buyers with a good overview of the boat’s history, which in turn increases the resale value.

Our service programme includes the replacement of the main sail and genoa, replacement of the running rigging and engine overhaul. It also includes all other regular and winter servicing such as maintenance of the sail, the winch and engine as well as winterising of the inboard motor. The Scandinavian influence at our destinations ensures a high standard of service and maintenance. Detailed information on the maintenance can be found in the contract.

33

Page 34: NAVIGARE

Maybe it’s time to think about getting your own charter boat in a warmer climate. Imagine it:

• No expenses for the upkeep of the boat• No time spent on maintenance• Annual return of around 10% of the boat’s value• 3 – 8 weeks of sailing every year in warm waters• The boat will be waiting for you when you arrive, ready to sail• Choose the country in which you would like to spend your allocated weeks

WHAT HAPPENS AFTER THE CONTRACT PERIOD?Once the contract period has come to an end, Navigare will help you, whether you decide to keep the boat or sell it. Should you wish to sell it, Navigare can assist you in the sale of your boat through our boat broker service.Should you choose to invest in a new charter boat, Navigare can help you with the sale of the current one. Should you choose to bring your boat home, Navigare can organize the logistics, either in part or in full.

Financing

Page 35: NAVIGARE

FINANCINGFULL FINANCING – FIXEDAs financier you lend 100% of the boat’s purchase price to Navigare Yachting in the country where the boat is to be docked. The security of the loan serves as a deposit in that country’s register of shipping. This is the best security available. This deposit makes it impossible for Navigare to pledge, raise a loan on or sell the boat, or to change its registration without the authorization of the pledgee. No creditor other than the financier can lay claim to the boat since the deposit entitles the financier to lodge the first claim. The annual return is set between 9-13% depending on which boat you choose. The return is guaranteed. Navigare undertakes to rent out the boat for at least six seasons but as financier you have the option at the end of each season to withdraw the boat from the fleet.

FULL FINANCING – FLEXIBLEAs financier you lend 100% of the boat’s purchase price to Navigare Yachting in the country where the boat is to be docked. The annual return of 9-13% is based on a 21-week rental period and is dependent

on the type of boat, country and rental agreements. Part of the return is fixed and part of it is flexible. The set- up is designed so that Navigare and the financier equally share the income, but the financier is always guaranteed 4-8 percent return. The financier may also book the boat for another four weeks on short notice, provided that the boat is not already reserved. Navigare undertakes to rent out the boat for at least six seasons but as financier you have the option at the end of each season to withdraw the boat from the fleet.

PARTIAL FINANCINGInvest between 58% and 60% of the value into the boat and let the annual return finance the rest. As with the scheme for full financing there are no additional costs involved for the investor during the charter years. After six years, ownership of the boat is transferred to the investor without any additional costs other than VAT.

A GREAT INVESTMENT AND THE ULTIMATE VACATIONAs an addition, all the programs offer various of free vacation choices as sailing in all our destinations, skiing in the Alps and luxurious houses both in Thailand and Italy. The financier may also book any yacht in the same size boat for another four weeks on short notice, provided that the boat is not already reserved.

LAGOON 450Lagoon 450 is the successor of the famous Lagoon 440. The previous model’s top qualities have been retained, of course, some of them being a steering station on the fly bridge accessible from both sides of the cockpit, performance under sail and unsurpassable comfort in the cabins and the salon.

Lagoon 450 is larger than its predecessor and has a bigger sail area and has also had important improvements when

it comes to safety, performance and cruising comfort. The cockpit offers space, comfort and panoramic view.

As all the other Lagoons, this model also bears the VPLP (Van Peteghem Lauriot Prévost) signature, the best naval architects in the catamaran sector.

LAGOON 400The new Lagoon 400 is a perfect combination of space and performances. This modern boat is incredibly comfortable and designed for coastal and ocean cruises. This catamaran can easily accommodate 8 +2 people in its elegant and spacious interior. Its overall length is 11.89 metres.

This model comes with widened double berths in owner and guest cabins. The saloon and cabins have plenty of natural

light and all parts of the boat have excellent ventilation. Some additional perks are that engine compartments are far removed from the living areas and perfectly insulated, galley is located between cockpit and saloon and cockpit and saloon are on the same level.

This is a boat that offers you comfort, performance, practicality and safety – a perfect package.
