Arriving at Larger Airports
• Wake Turbulence issues • Airport signage may not be user- friendly for
smaller general aviation aircraft• Large, unfamiliar layout, especially at night• Close attention must be paid to controller
instructions• Little time for second clearances• If you have questions ---- ASK!!!!

After Landing
• Clear the runway – “dash across the dashes”• Ask for progressive taxi instructions• Limit distractions while on any movement area• Don’t forget to close your VFR flight plan!
