• Setpoint range set• Saves energy by limiting the minimum and maximum set temperatures.• Avoids excessive heating and cooling.• This function is convenient when the remote controller is installed at a location where any number of people may operate it.
• Setpoint auto reset• Even if the set temperature is changed, it returns to the preset temperature after a preset period of time.• Set period is selectable from 30, 60, 90 or 120 minutes.

• Off timer• After you turn on the air conditioner, it will automatically turn off in a preset period of time.• Set period is selectable from 30 to 180 minutes in 10-minute increments.

• How to set the Setback1) 1st procedure: Make the setback function active
Save the setting.
Enter the Main Menu and select the Energy Saving Options.
Select the Energy Saving list.
Set the Setback condition to “ON”.(default: OFF)
It returns to the Basic screen. The setback function is now active.
Only setback temperatures are displayed when the air conditioner is turned off.

2) 2nd procedure: Set the “setback temperatures”In case of setting of both cooling and heating setback
In case of setting of only cooling, select Cool mode instead of Auto mode in the first procedure mentioned above.Follow similar procedure for heating only.
On the Basic screen when the air conditioner is turned off, press the mode selector button until Auto mode appears.
Press “ ” or “ ” until desired cooling setback temperature value appears.
Press “ ” or “ ” to change the cursor position from Cool to Heat.
Press “ ” or “ ” until desired heating setback temperature value appears.
