Change Notification March 25, 2013 Effective March 25, 2013, we are releasing the newest version of Navvia, which we call Navvia Essentials. Navvia Essentials is a free upgrade and is the easiest way to share and communicate your essential process documentation, which includes:

This replaces the sentence previously included at the bottom of the notification that contained the hyperlink to the email address defined in the “From” field. • CFFD Enhancement: Swim lanes are now sequenced (top to bottom) based on the

order in which roles are encountered within the activity. This should improve the overall appearance and flow of the diagrams.

January 30, 2012 The following changes were implemented into ITOptimizer as of January 30, 2012

• A new eAssessment style - Enhanced - that does not require eAssessment

The following changes were implemented into ITOptimizer as of January 23, 2012

• A new eAssessment style - Open Survey - that generates a URL that can be placed

on websites or emailed from the client's email system (as opposed to from ITOptimizer)

o Advantages include: § No Login required for assessment takers § Ability to publish a link to the survey outside of ITOptimizer § Demographics solicited at the end of the assessment

• All list columns can now be resized by dragging the column header's right border • The lock icon on the User Admin page only appears for users that are actually locked

out o The Unlock column is now sortable as well (to allow locked out users to be

quickly identified) • Fixes:

o The order of newly added Successors on the Task Details page was not correct o Unable to scroll down to Successors if the list contained more than 4 or 5

entries o The +/- icon in the expand/collapse column was clipped on some pages

January 12, 2012 Effective January 31, 2012, Internet Explorer V6 (IE6) is no longer supported for ITOptimizer. The decision to discontinue support for IE6 is based on the following:

• IE6 is not capable of taking advantage of the new user interface and other new features introduced with ITOptimizer V2

• We have observed that a very small number of individuals log in to ITOptimizer with an IE 6 browser.

• As we continue to enhance the functionality of ITOptimizer, we believe better value will be achieved by focusing resources on development of features and functions that exploit newer browser versions.

• Several associated reports • The Respondent dropdown on the Answers By Person report (eAssessment) is now

sorted alphabetically • If a user is deactivated on the User Administration page and is assigned to an

eGovernance Role and has Tasks created, a pop-up warning indicating that all Roles and Tasks assigned to this user will be disabled and you will not be able to modify them. The Roles and Tasks should be reassigned to another user before de-activating.

• The ability to add a URL as an eGovernance Evidence attachment is supported. • eGovernance Tasks will now support verification. When editing a Task, checking the

Verified checkbox will reveal a Verify Status and comments. The summary page will indicate a checkmark if the Task was successfully verified, an X if the verification failed. If you hover over the verified field the Verify Comments will be displayed.

• When an eAssessment project is launched, the notifications to Assessment Takers will be performed by a background process allowing the assessment project administrator to perform other tasks rather than waiting for the notifications to complete. Notification of users may take some time depending on the volume of users being notified. To view the progress click Refresh at the Notifications page.

• Various Bug fixes. November 5, 2011 The following is an outline of the changes will be implemented into ITOptimizer as of November 5, 2011.

• The behavior of items within a list view has been enhanced to improve navigation: o Filter expressions, Page Size and current page are retained after an item on the

page has been updated. o Anytime an entry is edited it will remain highlighted after an update o After an entry is added it will be highlighted and it will be visible on the page

• Correct a problem with download of “Excel Template” used for batch uploading of new Userids to ITOptimizer. In some cases, users with browsers IE 7 and IE 8 were not able to download the template.

• Various fixes applied to address intermittent exceptions that caused users to be prematurely logged out of ITOptimizer.

• Suppress the display of the unique process numbers associated with eProcess templates and process definitions. Process numbers will no longer be displayed on eProcess online pages. They will continue to appear on system-generated CFFD diagrams and the Export to Word documents. The process numbers will be removed from these outputs in future upgrades to eProcess. Example:

o Currently, activities for the Incident Management V3 process template are displayed in the Workflow page with ID numbers 32.1, 32.2, etc. Task ID numbers are currently displayed as 32.2.1, 32.2.2, etc.

o Going forward, IDs for activities will be displayed in eProcess as 1.0, 2.0, 3.0 and IDs for tasks will be displayed as 2.1, 2.2, 2.3, etc.

The following changes will be implemented in ITOptimizer V2. • Enhanced editing capability to modify “Answer” field contents formatting within

eAssessment. Includes capability to change font size and apply underscore and bold attributes allowing answers to match question styles.

• Provide the capability to specify that “prompts for additional details” associated with eAssessment Question Set answers is mandatory or optional.

• Apply corrections to “New from Common” pop-up windows to prevent “Copy” and “Cancel” buttons from scrolling off the form.

• Implement “page locking” to prevent selecting a new action button or link before the existing page has completed rendering. A visual queue will be displayed while the page is locked. This change will prevent occasional exceptions that may occur when an action is selected before the page has completed rendering.

• The default value for Page Size is set to 20. This value controls the number of rows displayed on a page.
