It’s hard to believe that I started at Nazareth on Mon­day, July 21, 2003, and the graduates who have been here all four years, started one month later on August 21, 2003. As a result, this year’s class will always have a special place in my heart. You have worked very hard and have always represented the college in a very posi­tive way, and I want to congratulate all of you on your great achievement. For me personally, and hopefully for most of you, these past four years have been the best four years of my life, and I aiuibute this to my wife Nonie, son JJ and the students at Nazareth College.

During tliese past four years you have seen tlie open­ing of the Elizabeth George residence hall, the comple­tion of all renovations on the Golisano Academic Com­plex, the addition of women's golf, women's and men’s indoor and outdoor track, women’s and men’s cross country and women’s softball as new varsity sports. In addition, you have seen the introduction of Music The­atre, Communications and Rhetoric, and Peace and Jus­tice as new majors at Nazareth.

My life has been truly enriched by my interactions with many members of your class. Y ou have contributed to make Nazareth a wonderful, friendly community, and you will always be welcomed back to your alma mater. Additional guests are welcome and encouraged to view the live broadcast of the ceremony on the big screen in the comfortable Callahan Theater of the Nazareth College Arts Cen­ter .The ceremony will be signed for deaf guests and a hearing loop is available in the Callahan Theater; 3:30 p.m. Reception for graduates and their fami­lies under the Hospitality Tent in the parking lot near Smyth Hall, featuring music, coffee, and cookies.
