NBAICT Orientation Session

Opportunity for up to 30 Aboriginal clients per site to be exposed to a supportive learning environment

• What can I expect to learn?

• Orientation consists of 2 phases

• A Job Coach will be there every step of the way

• Personalized funding available

Specialized Training:NBCC IT: Network Support

• How long is this training?– 30 weeks (additional 30 weeks for

administrator designation)• Where will the training be delivered?– NBCC campus - TBD

• Will there be work term placements?– Yes, for technician training, we will look

to our industry partners to take placements.

Responsible for the maintenance of computer hardware and software

Specialized Training:Mobile Application Developer

• How long is this training?– 60 weeks (January 2013 – March

2014)• Where will the training be

delivered?– To be determined

• Will there be work term placements?– To be determined

Application development for low powered devices such as mobile phones and tablets

NBAICT Eligibility Criteria

• Are you unemployed or under employed?

• Are you interested in pursuing a career in the ICT Industry?

• Are you willing to relocate or travel for training?

• Must complete an application form and contact us.
