> Policy makers consistently measure the skills gap in a timely manner at the national, state and local levels

> Educators close the skills gap, via tools integrated into career pathways with stackable industry-recognized credentials

> Economic Developers use an on-demand reporting tool to market the quality of their workforce

How to Become Certified?In order to be certified as Work Ready, a community must meet each of the following criteria:

> Letter of commitment to workforce excellence from county leaders

> Growth in high school graduation rate> Increase in the number of Career Readiness Certifications

issued to the total labor force> Employers committed to excellence in workforce by written

notification that they prefer or require the Career Readiness Certificate for recruitment and hiring
