Examinations

EAP 10 – NCEES Examinations

offered to a Foreign Entity

NCEES may contract to provide NCEES examinations

to a foreign entity subject to the approval of the

Council.

The executive director authorized by the NCEES Board

of Directors to enter into discussions

Must receive assurance that NCEES examinations will

be administered in full compliance with all NCEES

examination policies and procedures.

EAP 10 – NCEES Examinations

offered to a Foreign Entity

NCEES examinations shall not be administered at a

foreign site prior to the examinations being

administered in member boards’ jurisdictions.

The agreement will require, at a minimum, that all costs

borne by NCEES will be reimbursed.

NCEES will establish minimum criteria for candidates

of the foreign entity that are in general conformance

with the existing NCEES Model Law and Model Rules.

to Foreign Administration

• EDP 14 Foreign Language - NCEES shall prepare

examinations only in the English language.

• EAP 8 F Release and Use of Examination Results -

When examinations are offered outside the boundaries

of NCEES jurisdictions and are not to be used for

licensing, the results may be returned to the

sponsoring organization.

Approve applicants based on agreed criteria

Locate and arrange for appropriate testing facility for pencil/paper administered exams

Provide for secure storage of exams

Provide proctors per NCEES policy

NCEES Responsibilities

Process rosters and issue seating notices

Provide a Chief Proctor/Observer for each exam site

Provide all exams and related materials

Score and provide exam results to individual candidates and foreign partner

Provide verification of exam results to member boards upon request
