About the CollegeAbout the CollegeAbout the CollegeAbout the College SSN College of Engineering (SSNCE) is the outcome of the vision and initiative of Padma Bhushan Dr. Shiv Nadar, Chairman of HCL Technolo-

gies Ltd. The institution was established in 1996 on a sprawling campus of 250 acres on Rajiv Gandhi Salai (OMR) of Chennai. The institution offers

eight B.E/B.Tech Degree programmes and nine M.E. / M.Tech degree programmes in addition to MBA and MCA. The admission is done

purely based on merit. The College is accredited by NBA and NAAC with 'A' Grade. The College has Wi-Fi connectivity, e-learning enabled classrooms

and state of the art laboratories and software.

ticing engineers and scientists for presentation in the multi-disciplinary areas of Electronics, Communication,

Computer Engineering on the following topics but not restricted to:

Advanced VLSI Systems, Signal Processing, Image Processing, Speech Processing, Wireless Communication, Wire-

less Sensor Networks, Network Security, Optical networks, Cognitive Radio, Non-Conventional Energy Systems,

Pervasive Computing, and Soft Computing Techniques.

Prospective authors are requested to submit a softcopy to ncict2k14@ssn.edu.in and two hard copies of full

length research papers in IEEE two column format on A4 size paper (Maximum 4 pages) not later than 15th March

2014. Accepted papers will be included in the Conference Proceedings only if at least one of the authors regis-

ters for the conference. Certificates will be issued only to the authors who will be presenting the paper.

About the DepartmentAbout the DepartmentAbout the DepartmentAbout the Department The Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering offers M.E. in Communication Systems, Applied Electronics and VLSI Design

in addition to B.E., in ECE. The Department is recognized as a Research Centre by Anna University, Chennai for Ph.D and M.S. (By Re-

search). The department has organized STTPs sponsored by AICTE – ISTE, FDPs sponsored by Anna University, and many national level seminars and

workshops. The department has also organized three International Conferences and one National Conference. Guided by dynamic and experienced

faculty, the Department has close interactions with leading institutes and industries for research and development. The Department is currently

having funded research projects in the areas of underwater communication, speech processing, optical communication, wireless sensor networks

and VLSI.
