Ineffective breastfeeding related to interruption in breastfeeding as manifested sore nipples with cracks.

Immediate cause:Interruption in breastfeeding.

Intermediate cause:Sore nipples with cracks.

Root Cause:Exposure of nipples to factors that dries up the nipples which results to cracks and sore.

GOAL:After 8 hours of nursing intervention, the patient will be able to have appropriate knowledge on how to avoid sore nipples and cracks.

OBJECTIVES: The client will

be able to promote moisture on her nipples.
