New Amphitheater

Mentor’s Civic Center Park has long served as a gathering place in our community. In excess of 50,000 people attend a variety of events on these grounds each year.

Last fall, the City broke ground on a brand new state-of-the-art amphitheater which will be completed in late spring.

The $2 million dollar venue will feature integrated lighting and sound, as well as two retractable 14 x 7 video screens in order to add theatrical productions as well as movie nights, sports watch parties, speakers, and other events to the current musical offerings.

The new complex will feature a 58’ x 49’ stage, a green room, storage space and changing rooms, as well as exterior men’s and women’s restrooms.

Up to 4,500 attendees will have a clear line of site as the bowl will be extended to the rear of the property.

Numerous sponsorship opportunities exist throughout the summer season for Mentor Rocks as well as other events.

Over 20,000 people attended Mentor Rocks in 2016...and 2017 is going to start off with a bang! We are thrilled to announce the grand opening of our new amphitheater on the Fourth of July with a spectacular Rock ‘n’ Rockets concert featuring a NATIONAL ACT followed by a spectacular fireworks display.

The outdoor venue will feature a 60 foot stage, state-of-the-art lighting and sound, as well as two 14 x 7 video boards - and will be able to accommodate 4,500 concert goers.

In addition to booking top shelf talent, we’re bringing back food service, beer & wine, as well as an expanded vendor opportunities to deliver a festival atmosphere every Tuesday night.
