Over the years, we have been able to share and appreciate this beautiful part of the world, forming wonderful relationships with our guests, sponsors and partners, resulting in a unique and memorable adventure, the Nedbank Tour de Tuli. This year will be the 15th year riding through the Greater Mapungubwe Transfrontier Conservation Area (GMTFCA) of South Africa, Zimbabwe and Botswana, hosting the Tour and mountain biking for a purpose.

Each year our riders are privileged to take part in one of the most unique mountain bike events in the world, one that takes them along ancient game paths in remote, beautiful wilderness areas. Here we come together to breathe the fresh air of the wild and enjoy time on your mountain bike, building lifelong friendships with people from all walks of life – all while contributing to a truly worthy cause.

This booklet contains information on various accommodation options in the GMTFCA, for participants, their families and friends. We hope this guide will help you with accommodation suggestions for staying over prior to and after the Tour, as well as for families wishing to stay in the nearby area or looking to extend their stay.

Thank you for the part you play in changing lives – we look forward to welcoming you on our 2019 Tour – a celebration of 15 years of riding for Children in the Wilderness.

It is the children of the Children in the Wilderness programme who are the reason that we host this event: the smiling faces of the kids who participate in the camp programmes or the school Eco-Clubs, the serious students benefiting from a scholarship, and the young “guides in training” feverishly identifying a bird in their books.

We value your support and the contribution you have made to Children in the Wilderness by taking part in our unique mountain bike event.

We look forward to another fantastic event with our riders and the greater team, consisting of volunteers who dedicate their time, passion and energy into making this the experience of a lifetime.
