As you are aware, in 2014, each FARNET & HARBOURNET school will need to commit to provide

● E-TEACHER/s: At least ONE teacher from each school, with sufficient time allocated to running

this course (option line) – If enrolments exceed 25 enrolments, you will need to provide 2

e-teachers. If you are unable to provide an e-teacher for 2014, you will need to provide a

further 0.2 staffing.

● E-DEAN: ONE person from each school to take the responsibility of the PASTORAL care of your

e-students with sufficient time allocated to carry out this task effectively

● 0.1 staffing or 2MUs or $8,000 (money equivalent of 2MUs)

● PROFESSIONAL TRAINING: Both e-Dean and e-Teacher/s will need to attend the one day

Professional Learning Development (PLD) workshop on Friday, 15th November and Saturday,

16th November @ Bream Bay College to ensure they are equipped with the tools and support

to be an effective e-teacher or e-Dean. Existing e-teachers and e-Deans will be expected to

attend also.
