From the 15 peers, the scores ranged from a 0 to a 3 but Kyle’s overall evaluation rating is a 2.42 out of 3. This score is proficient for an employee working here for the time Kyle has been here, however I believe someone leading an office should have scores at a 3 or right under. In the contributing portion of the performance evaluation, Kyle scored a 2.83 out of 3. This shows he is exceeding with his contributions as a team member. He is quick to offer ideas and well thought out suggestions. He is always attended for at meetings and staff events. Kyle is also able to meet deadlines without having to continuously check-in with him on the progress of his projects. Kyle scored a 2.18 out of 3 in the Facilitating Group Problem Solving category. Kyle asks well rounded questions often to organize discussion, however he tends to occasionally stray from the topic. Kyle encourages suggestions made by other team members as well as provides his own suggestions. When coming to a solution, Kyle could improve upon discarding solutions that may not be as relevant as others. In order to develop this skill I will mentor Kyle and help him lead meetings while staying on topic. I will also work with Kyle on projects that revolve around problem solving, demonstrating how to narrow down and come to fitting solutions. Kyle’s lowest score fell under the listening category with ratings of a 1.96 out of 3. Kyle allows other members to talk but struggles with limiting discussion to the significance of the meeting. Summarizing and clarifying other members ideas is a difficulty of Kyle’s,

Inez,Based on Kyle Houstons performance evaluations from 15 of his peers it appears he excels in contributing to a team but before he is promoted and sent to run our Dallas office he needs to develop skills in two other areas we believe are critical at Anders consulting. From the 15 peers, the scores ranged from a 0 to a 3 but Kyles overall evaluation rating is a 2.42 out of 3. Kyles lowest score fell under the listening category with ratings of a 1.96 out of 3. Kyle allows other members to talk but struggles with limiting discussion to the significance of the meeting. Summarizing and clarifying other members ideas is a difficulty of Kyles, especially when coming to solutions. Kyle does a marginal job of telling other members what to think. To help Kyle improve upon this skill, I will run a meeting alongside Kyle, helping him stay on topic with his own suggestions as well as others. I will also have Kyle participate in listening workshops to better his listening skills. Kyle is a valued employee and his performance evaluation shows that he is exceeding as a team member. I believe Kyles ratings will increase with more experience and learning opportunities. Giving Kyle projects and responsibilities where he has to actively listen or problem solve would be very beneficial in improving Kyles skills in these areas. Thank you for trusting my opinion and I hope it helps with your decision.
