The VT150WKS is build to operate in the most extreme conditions such as coal mines, rock quarries, oil rigs, chemical manufacturing plants, and production floors of major food processing and packaging plants which require wash-down equipment. It is equipped with a 15.0" TFT LCD, a high powered core computer, sealed keyboard and a sealed pointing device. The VT150WKS offers a multitude of mounting configuration options including VESA Wall Mounting, Bulkhead, and Pole or Pedestal Mount.

Ideal for extreme environments, the VT150ESW & VT190ESW computer and its

predecessors are currently in use in coal mines, rock quarries, oil rigs, chemical manufacturing

plants, bakeries, and production floors of major food processing and packaging plants which

require wash down equipment. VarTech Systems has custom engineered the VT150ESW &

VT190ESW for extremely rugged conditions, both indoors and out:

These monitors are built to withstand the harshest conditions with a sealed, NEMA 4x-compliant,

stainless steel enclosure. There are no external vents, which protects the VT150ESW &

VT190ESW components from dust, dirt, moisture, chemicals oil, and other external

contaminants.

Shock & Vibration Control

Shock and vibration controls are engineered throughout the system. Vibration mounts can be

found on both the chassis and the drive bay and all cables are restrained with cable ties. In order

to prevent vibration related failures, all connectors are hot glued.

The VT150ESW & VT190ESW operate smoothly and efficiently in conditions where other

computers would fail. Not merely an enclosure for any type of PC, its electronics and chassis

were designed in tandem to provide a reliable and effective solution for harsh environments.

These systems utilize top quality components from Intel, Sharp and other industry leaders. Each

system is thoroughly inspected and tested before shipping to ensure trouble-free, long-term

operation.

Flexible

Configuration choices range from standard PC options to outdoor service and extreme

temperature kits. A Class 1 explosion proof option is available.

The size and location of conduit fittings may be customized to meet specific connection and field

installation requirements. NEMA 4X bulkhead connectors are available.

These systems are compatible with Windows-based products, common industrial software, and a

wide variety of other third-party solutions, enabling you to install, utilize, maintain and upgrade

the business applications you already know and use.

Rugged The VTPC104VS, VTPC150VS, and VT170VS easily handle the punishment of harsh computing environments. They are proven tough in real world applications such as industrial production areas, outdoor kiosks and public terminals. Their computer chassis have no external vents, so nothing can get under their skin, including dust, dirt, moisture, oil, chemicals or other harsh contaminants. A hard-anodized cast aluminum heat exchanger and internal heat management system keep them cool in environments where ambient temperatures approach 50°C -- without using outside air.

Compact The relatively lightweight, small footprint, rugged construction, and choice of conduit fitting locations, enable flexible mounting options for these computers, including on walls, stands, poles or other industrial equipment. A touch screen provides freedom from a keyboard and mouse, although either (or both) of these may be added.

VarTech Manufactures Many Actively and Passively Enhanced Sunlight Readable Models of NEMA 4X Enclosed Computer Systems

VarTech offers a comprehensive selection of sunlight readable NEMA 4X systems. These models are extremely high brightness systems through increased CCFL or LED backlighting. Typical sunlight readable levels start at 400 nits but VarTech’s sunlight readable computers start at 800 nits and range up to 1800 nits. Some of these models also utilize VarTech’s VBOND optical bonding technology which virtually eliminates reflective interference and drastically increases contrast especially in direct sunlight.

Compact The VS series fully sealed NEMA 4X monitors are a rugged, industrial displays designed to connect remote PCs to the production floor.
