The nervous system is based on the interconnection of neurons, each sending and receiving nerve impulses.

Our sensory organs are: the ear the eye the nose(nasal passages) the tongue skin&hairs&nails

1. Ear: an organ for hearing and balance

2. Eye: an organ of sight.

3.The tongue:a strong muscle at the floor of the mouth that is covered by the lingual membrane. It is the organ of taste.

The nails are a form of skin and it is formed by keratin.

smell.
