IntroductionNestle Global is the world’s largest food and nutritioncompany.

Founded in 1867 by Henri Nestle in Vevey, Switzerland.

However, Nestlé India is a subsidiary of Nestle S.A. of 

Switzerland found on 28th March, 1959 in New Delhi. It’s a vibrant company with 7 factories and numerous

co-packers.

Acknowledged amongst India's 'Most RespectedCompanies' and amongst the 'Top Wealth Creators of India'.

Nestlé’s relationship with India dates back to 1912,when it began trading as The Nestlé Anglo-SwissCondensed Milk Company (Export) Limited, importing

and selling finished products in the Indian market.

Nestles adopts systematic use of PIQET(Packaging Impact Quick Evaluation Tool) toevaluate the environmental profile of packaging being considered in any

development.Continued reductions in packaging material

and saved 70,828 tonnes of packagingmaterial by weight.

In 2009, Nestle became the first majorconfectionery company in the country toreplace non-recyclable plastic with recyclablecardboard packaging in its 20 million Easter

eggs.

 Then opened the Choladi Unit in Tamil Nadu.
