Networking via Net Impact helped me to sustain myself through paid projectswhile I looked for a full-time position. Not only did I make money and build myskill set and resume, I also made great friends

Sanjay WagleVice President, Clean TechVantage Point Venture Partners

I went to business school because I felt that the best way to address theworlds social and environmental problems was through the power ofbusiness. Socially responsible business is still a small world I keep

bumping into Net Impact people everywhere. The Net Impact network hasplayed a huge role in my career development.

    Kyle Schott

Manager, Environment & Social ResponsibilityMcDonalds Corporation

Often times large companies make you feel like youre on your own; Net Impactmakes you feel like you have a community. Going to a conference and seeing

1,300 people who are the next wave of leadership, running companies and beingpassionate about these issues, its really inspiring.

    Student membership: $25 / year

    International Student membership: $15/year

    Professional membership: $50 / year

    International Professional: $25/year

    Lifetime membership: $350 one-time fee

Why does Net Impact charge dues?

To support our member programming and organization

Some activities are hard to fund through philanthropy (e.g. career services)

Member dues are a more sustainable/reliable source of funding than philanthropy

In 2005, member and chapter dues represented 11% of our revenue; goal is to raise thisto 19% by 2008

    To make membership more significant

We believe annual dues shows an investment and commitment to the organization

Studies show people believe they get what they pay for

    Why should members pay dues?

To support the Net Impact mission to change the world through business

To take advantage of members-only opportunities and resources (more detail to follow)

To identify yourself as a full member, demonstrating your commitment to using business for apositive social impact
