New item adalah text yang mmeberikan informasi tentang kejadian atau

peristiwa harian

Generic structure of new item text :

1.

Main events : Kejadian utama yang pantas dijadikan berita

2. Elaboration : penjelasan mengenai latar belakang adanya peritiwa tersebut,

orang-orang yang terlibat dalam peristiwa tersebut, tempat peristiwa

tersebut.

3.

Resource of information (source) : sumber berita , komentar para saksi,

pendapat para ahli dan lain-lain.

Contoh :

Analysia Diva Mustika a student for Pamekasan Junior High School, East Java,

won tehe gold medal at the International Mathematics Contest held in Romania

between march 22 to 29.

Speaking to journalist Diva said she was glad that she had been able to win the

competition which the said had been very hight. Thank god I won. I will studyharder. She said.

Indonesia sent 10 students to the competition in Romania. Diva is not the first

Pamekasan student to win an International science competition. Another student

Shohibul Maroni won the same award in 2010.

I think Diva for giving a good name to Indonesia and Pamekasan on the

International stage.

Thesis : Berisi pandangan penulis tentang suatu masalah

secara lebih sederhana

2.

Series of argument : Berisi beberapa penjelasan lanjutan dari

keterangan sederhana dalam thesis statement

3. Conclusion : Menyimpulkan/lebih sederhananya ketika

mengungkapkan kembali apa yang dijelaskan pada thesis statement

Contoh :

All children should have to play sport children all over Australia are getting and

fatter a way lie in making it can we help? The best way is to get kids of all ages

involved in playing sport being active by playing sport in going to keep kidsstrong. Fit and headily. Scientists have shown kids have less health problems

than kids who sit at home and watch too much TV.

other.

It is obvious all children should have to play sport and how to work with children.

Playing to sport is fun and eating and it is much better that being beret at home.
