Axiomtek’s Network Appliance Product division has been
dedicated to designing a wide range of network appliances
to help our customers meet their project requirements.
We deliver true value with our cost-effective desktop and
1U rackmount platforms with onboard multiprocessors.
They can reliably support Software Defined Network
(SDN) and complex security requirements. For a larger
network, our 2U rackmount Intel® Xeon® edge server
platforms are flexible and offer high computing powers
for SDN, NGFW, IDS, IPS and UTM applications. In addition
to these platforms, Axiomtek offers various peripherals
that include LAN modules and redundant power supplies
to ensure our customer’s ease of deployment with all the
required pieces in place when they come to us with their
project.
SDN is a newly emerging approach to networking, using
software to optimize network resources and quickly adapt
networks to evolving business requirements. Under the
SDN network architecture, a huge number of applications
such as network vir tualization, firewall protection,
intrusion detection and load balancing – can be deployed
simultaneously.
Axiomtek has been providing a variety of off-the-shelf
hardware platforms incorporating DPDK technology
to accelerate packet processing in the data plane - an
ideal and efficient platform in building up vSwitch and
OpenDaylight for SDN applications. As big data and cloud
computing have become more vital in today’s business
operations, speeding up the computing performance
over network through the use of software has been one

Axiomtek’s IIoT SDN controller supports state-of-the-art
Software Defined Networking (SDN) technology and the
OpenFlow protocol. It works as a centralized and reliable
network controller platform that operates with SDN-
enabled switches to deliver new flow-level automated
networking functions that cannot easily be provided by
traditional solutions.
Our IIoT SDN controller allows network administrators to
easily configure the whole network with minimum settings
on a central portal, enabling them to simplify network
