Before joining the Cigna network, health care professionals must meet Cigna standards through a process called credentialing. We regularly review credentials to help ensure they continue to meet these standards

Language Assistance and Access

Directory listings include languages other than English (if any), spoken by the health care professional (HCP) or by an office staff member who the HCP has identified as a qualified medical interpreter. However if you have difficulty understanding English, we offer language assistance and interpretation services at no cost to you. For help please call the Customer Service number on the back of your ID card. If you do not have or are unable to locate your ID card, please call 1.800.244.6224.

If you have a hearing or speech loss and use Telecommunications Relay Services (TRS) or a Text Telephone (TTY ), dial 711 to connect with a TRS operator.

Choose your Network General Dentist from our dental HMO-type network. The Cigna Dental Care Patient Charge Schedule applies only when covered dental services are performedby your designated Network General Dentist, unless otherwise authorized by Cigna Dental as described in your plan documents. Make sure you tell us which dental office you have chosenbefore your treatment begins so your coverage will apply. The Cigna Dental Care Network does include specialists. A Network Specialty Dentist may not be selected as your primary care dentist. Your Network General Dentist muststart the referral process.
