Network optimization service includes radio network planning, radio network
performance evaluation, radio network optimization, network infrastructure optimization
and bidding consulting. Now the services cover the GSM, GPRS, CDMA(IS95, 1X, EVDO)
and WCDMA.
Radio network PlanningBased on the abundant experience in radio network planning and rollout, with the help
of advanced planning tools, radio network planning for several vendors can be carried
out effectively. In the radio network planning procedure, after tuning the propagation
model of each terrain and cluster, the structure of the network, the amount of BTS and
BSC, the location and configuration of each site, the engineering and cell parameters of
each site, the coverage and quality KPI can be predicted with reasonable accuracy.
Through radio network planning, the investment is minimized, the performance is
maximized.
Radio network evaluation
Through the deeply communication with operator, the detailed radio network evaluation
standard including more than 10 KPIs is established at first. Radio network evaluation
service evaluates the subscriber perceived network quality and the whole network
performance such as rationality of resource allocation. The measures include drive test,CQT, customer complaint analysis, traffic statistics data analysis. By the radio network
performance evaluation, the whole network situation can be made clearly, the problems
existing can be pointed out, the ranking of different local network can be made, the
initial adjustment suggestion can be made for network optimization.
Radio network optimization
Radio network optimization makes all-round network optimization plan to do full
optimization to the network. It also adjusts the configuration and parameter of the
network according to practical situation of the network; resolves problems of network
warning, emergency network problems and all kinds of hidden network problems. It
improves and stabilizes service quality and performance of the network, enhances the
utilization of network resource, and finally improves key performance indicators and
average service level of the network.
Network infrastructure optimization
Network infrastructure ptimization is the process to optimally place the network and
ensure that the network is realistic and viable. Huaxin consulting mainly address four key
issues, namely the demographic and socio-economic issues, geographical estimation,
optimization of the network placement and financial optimization. A digital
representation of the map of the region where the network has to be placed is used. A
continuous optimization algorithm is applied to optimally place the backbone rings, and
a combinatorial optimization algorithm is applied to obtain the optimal rollout order for
the network. Mathematical formulations for both the optimization problems are
presented. Optimal financial indicators are obtained.
