Like it or not, we need each other’s cooperation to get where we want to be in life, both personally and professionally.

You cannot reach the level of success or the quality and quantity of results you aspire to without your employees.

Without the social intelligence to garner buy -in and cooperation from others, your level of technical brilliance is

inconsequential.

As a consultant and executive coach, Crystal helps you be at your best so you can quickly achieve your personal and

professional goals. She is an eight-time published author and has spoke to over 120 audiences and clients, including

Coca-Cola, Baxter’s Laboratories and Kraft Foods.

Mandates for reporting and responding to community health needs, the steady decline in reimbursements, challenges

surrounding physician recruitment and retention, and employees who are not feeling satisfied support the need for

hospital leaders to connect with community stakeholders on a whole new level. This presentation breaks down the

difference between outreach and engagement and outlines a holistic and practical approach for tackling outmigration -

patients living in your service area and leaving to receive even the most basic of healthcare services elsewhere.

Michelle Rathman founded Impact! Communications Inc., a leader in healthcare strategy and communications.

Michelle’s unique facilitated process introduces a variety of innovative tools and approaches to help hospitals gain

market share across the payer mix spectrum and community support when it’s needed the most.

Looking forward to future educational trends and student expectations, virtual learning spaces are being created to

enhance student access and learning; however, student engagement in courses delivered in asynchronous formats even

when utilizing advancing technology can be challenging. This presentation shares lessons learned from using digital

storytelling and videotaped interviews to engage students and help them appreciate relevance to all course material.

This session will explore the evolution of teleradiology and its implications in rural healthcare; some good, some bad,

and some downright ugly. Find out what you should demand from your radiology provider, and what pitfalls to avoid

when choosing one for your hospital.

Using data from the 2015 Colorado Health Access Survey, this session will provide the first look at the impact of state

and federal health reform efforts in rural Colorado. Through a regional lens, this session will explore the latest data on

health insurance, access and use of health care and affordability.

Adoption of the cloud and hosted solutions is happening at a rate few industry experts could have predicted. A variety

of environmental factors including: security threats, unlimited options and the need to make data available to your end

users at all times have created a “stigma” surrounding the cloud and all offsite solutions. Please join us as we

“debunk” these myths and provide you with the information you need to know to keep your data secure and what to

expect when selecting a solution that best fit the needs of your organization.
