Meet Helen Keller, a woman from Alabama. who taught the world to respect people who are blind and deaf. Her mission came from her own life; when she was 1 1/2, she was extremely ill, and she lost both her vision and hearing. It was like entering a different world, with completely new rules, and she got very frustratedBut she never gave up tryingShe learned to speak when she was ten by feeling her teacher's mouth when she talked.

when he was a 21-year-old student at Cambridge University. Hawking contracted motor neuron disease and was given two years to live . The most people with ALS live about 14 months from diagnosis to death. Some people live anywhere between 2-5 years with the disease. Hawking has been dealing with his disease for over 40 years, so the doctors see that in his disease is markedly different from typical case presentations..His sayings:"We are just an advanced breed of monkeys on a minor planet of a very average star. But we can understand the Universe. That makes us something very special."Stephen Hawking

was the inventor of braille, a system of reading and writing used by people who are blind As a small child, Braille was blinded in an accident; and as a young man – still a student at school – he created a revolutionary form of communication and this inventor help the lives of millions. After two centuries, the braille system remains an invaluable tool of learning and communication for the blind, and it has been adapted for languages in the whole world..
