College Internship (December 2015 – July 2016)During this programme, we learnt Java Web frameworks like Struts 2 & Spring 4 MVC along with ORM technologies like Hibernate 4 & JPA 2 under the training given by our alumni working at TCS & our professor.
Project: CRCE Placements (January 2016 - July 2016)As the Team Leader & Project Manager, our 14 member team has built a Placement Management Portal for the on-campus placements 2016-2017 of our college. This project is being built using Spring 4 MVC & Hibernate 4 – PostgreSQL 9.2 stack.
Projects: Distributed Database Integrations (March 2016)
Our 5 member team built a prototype which connects to a distributed RDBMS i.e. MySQL & PostgreSQL using Spring 4 MVC & Hibernate 4 based on the global schema of database.
E-health Web Application (October 2015)Our 4 member team has built a Web application which connects doctors, pharmacists, pathologists with citizens & simplifies various processes. It has been developed using JSP & Servlet technology.
Obstacle Avoiding Shortest Path (August 2015)
In Project Cell, our 2 member team programmed an Image Processing Project using Open CV 2 & NumPy Python libraries. The task was to find the shortest path between two squares in a grid containing walls.
Competitions: JP Morgan Chase Code For Good Challenge ( 23 - 24 July 2016)
The problem statement of the NGO Dream-a-Dream was to design a prototype to translocate their Excel data into DBMS along with an analytics engine which tracks users based on Career Growth & Locale. Our team was one out of the six finalists.
Larsen & Toubro Presentation Contest (19 March 2016)The problem statement was Smart Manufacturing of MCCB using IOT, for which our team’s solutions were focussed on detection of faults & co-ordination between units.
Hackerrank Coding Contests (January 2015- Present) Participated in 12 contests & made it through to the CodeSprint World Cup semi-finals in September 2015.
Achievements: Secured 64th rank in India in TCS Codevita Round 2 coding
competition. Secured Bronze Medal in Hackerrank Week of Code-17 contest in
August 2015 with rank of 771 out of 3568 coders. Admin of Altar Servers Association’s official website which received
more than 3,163 views by 377 visitors across 8 countries.
