THAT's patented InGenius® balanced line receivers are in a class of their own. They behave more like a real transformer, removing the hums and buzzes that crop up from time to time in real-world applications.

While the conventional input stages possess good rejection characteristics on paper, they perform poorly when fed from even slightly unbalanced source impedances.

The InGenius® input maintains a high CMRR even when fed from a single-ended source. This is as a result of its unique bootstrapping circuitry, which raises the common-mode input impedance into the megohm range, thus attenuating massively any common mode noise.

The AT1201 is a 2-channel A/D converter, designed for the most uncompromising high performance systems in the audio and test & measurement markets.

Using proprietary multi-bit sigma-delta modulation, the AT1201 provides the industry's highest dynamic range, excellent THD, and sampling rate of up to 384kHz. On-chip digital filters are designed for perceptually transparent response at all four sampling rates: 48kHz, 96kHz, 192kHz and 384kHz.

Transistor ArraysMatching at an excellent 500μV (typ), THAT Corporation’s 300 series are large-geometry, 4-transistor, monolithic NPN and/or PNP arrays, exhibiting both high speed and low noise, with superior parameter-matching between transistors of the same gender. Their low base-spreading resistances and voltage noise under 1nV/√Hz make the 300s ideal for low-noise amplifier input stages, among other applications.

THAT300 A & B

The THAT300 is available in several higher gain versions. The minimum Hfe for the standard part is 60, for the A version it is 150 minimum, and for the B version it is 300 minimum.

The Fabrication Process

The THAT300 series are fabricated in a dielectrically isolated (DI), complementary bipolar process, where each transistor is electrically insulated from the others by a layer of insulating oxide (and not the reverse-biased PN junctions used in conventional arrays). Consequently, the THAT300 series exhibit inter-device crosstalk and DC isolation similar to that expected from discrete transistors - perfect for audio applications!

RS Series Thin Film Audio Resistors

Susumu's newly released RS Series of thin film precision resistors have been developed specifically for audio applications, such as pro audio, automotive audio equipment, mobile audio and smartphones, and very low noise applications.

They offer even lower noise than the RG series, which is aimed at precision applications such as test and measurement.

The RS series adds less than 1% (-40dB) more noise than a perfect resistor. A standard thin film resistor adds typically 10% additional noise to fundamental noise, whereas a standard resistor will add over 1000% (+20dB) additional noise.

Archwave's AudioLAN series is AES67 compliant and supports the Ravenna protocol for audio networking.

The AudioLAN series combines Archwave's deep technical understanding of audio connectivity, signal processing standards and protocols, and capable audio design software.

These off-the-shelf hardware modules were designed to be easy to integrate and cost-effective, and are of interest to audio equipment and musical instrument manufactures wishing to combine audio networking based on open standards with quick time-to-market and rapid deployment.

Intuitive Browser-based Software

Customers will have access to Archwave's software platform, which is easy to design and integrate, modifiable, and interoperable with a wide range of operating systems, including Windows 7-10, OS X and iOS.

AudioLAN's attractive and intuitive browser-based software is designed to set up and refine a small to medium audio network with minimum hassle. It allows asymmetric configuration (e.g. 2-in, 30-out), and due to Archwave's principles on open standards, works with all AES67 and Ravenna compliant audio products.
