BECAUSE NORMAL ISN’T WORKING
CRAIG GROESCHEL
How to break free from the norm and lead a radically abnormal (and endlessly more fulfilling) life.
When people describe my lifestyle or family as weird, I
find comfort, writes author Craig Groeschel.
Journey with Groeschel as he shares a Christcentered
philosophy on everything from money to scheduling to
purity, helping readers break out of the normal rut and live
according to the rhythms of God's grace and truth of his
word.
Normal people are stressed, overwhelmed, and exhausted.
Many of their relationships are, at best, strained and, in
most cases, just surviving. Even though we live in one of
the most prosperous places on earth, normal is still living
paycheck to paycheck and never getting ahead. In our
oversexed world, lust, premarital sex, guilt, and shame are
far more common than purity, virginity, and a healthy
married sex life. And when it comes to God, the majority
believe in him, but the teachings of Scripture rarely make it
into their everyday lives.
Simply put, normal isn't working.
Groeschel's WEIRD views will help readers break free from
the norm to lead a radically abnormal (and endlessly more
fulfilling) life.
Craig Groeschel is the founding and senior pastor of
LifeChurch.tv, a pacesetting multicampus church,
with over eighty weekly worship experiences in
fourteen locations, including an online campus.
Craig, his wife, Amy, and their six children live in the
Edmond, Oklahoma area where LifeChurch.tv began
in 1996. Craig is the author of several books,
including Chazown and It.

A GI'S STORY OF COURAGE AND FAITH
MAURICE POSSLEY AND JOHN WOODBRIDGE
An imaginative, previously untold story of Hitler and his golden gun that history buffs and adventure lovers won't soon forget.
A Pulitzer Prizewinning journalist teams up with a
university scholar in this compelling, untold historical tale
of a young man's courage at a critical time in United States
history and the saga of a dictator's pistol that continues
today.
The time is World War II. Young soldier Ira "Teen" Palm
and his men burst into a Munich apartment, hoping to
capture Adolph Hitler. Instead, they find an empty
apartment ... and a golden gun. As the authors trace the
story of the man and the gun, they examine a time and
place that shaped men like Palm and transformed them
into heroes. They also follow the strange journey of
Hitler's pistol.
Readers will discover: an imaginative historical adventure
in the tradition of Stephen Ambrose's Band of Brothers
(over one million copies sold); new, previously untold
information about World War II events, including an
uprising of German soldiers and citizens against the Nazi
regime; and a neverbefore told account of an
assassination attempt on Hitler in Munich.
Hitler in the Crosshairs is inspiring, motivating, and
entertaining storytelling by awardwinning authors that
will keep the pages turning!
Maurice Possley is a Pulitzer Prizewinning journalist
who is a Research Fellow at the Santa Clara

SIMPLE DATES FOR FINDING THE LOVE OF YOUR LIFE
STEVE ARTERBURN
A howto plan for happier, stronger marriages from the host of the #1 Christian radio show, "New Life Live!"
In Is This the One?, Steve Arterburn—an awardwinning
author and the founder and chairman of New Life
Ministries, the largest faithbased broadcast counseling
and treatment ministry—has created a howto plan for
happier, stronger marriages. He contends that living in a
"no regrets" relationship can be as simple as following
this spiritually solid and personally drawn plan before the
first "I do" is even spoken.
Host of the numberone Christian radio broadcast, "New
Life Live!," Arterburn draws a painfully personal portrait
of the devastation divorce has on a family. Rather than
aiming at marriages already in jeopardy, Arterburn
focuses attention on the beginning of relationships—
before the commitment, before the emotional investment,
before the children. He prescribes three sets of ten
carefully devised dates designed to help couples reveal
their true colors and clarify whether or not they are a
compatible match. This practical, personal, and positive
plan can impact marriages—and ground the skyrocketing
divorce rate—as no other book has.
Is This the One? is a mustread for engaged or dating
couples, happy singles, concerned parents, and anyone
who wants to make better decisions about whom to marry
and whom to leave behind.
Steve Arterburn is the host of the number one
Christian counseling broadcast, New Life Live,
syndicated around the country and heard all over
the world. Steve is also the founder of New Life
Ministries offering counseling and treatment across
America. He is also the creator of the Women of
Faith conferences attended by over 4,000,000
people. Steve is the bestselling author of books
such as Every Man’s Battle, Toxic Faith and his
latest, Regret Free Living. With over 7,000,000
books in print, he has been writing about God’s
transformational truth since 1984. He has been
nominated for numerous writing awards and won
three Gold Medallions for writing excellence. Steve
has degrees from Baylor University and the
University of North Texas as well as two honorary
doctorate degrees. He currently is a doctoral student
at Newburg Seminary and Bible College in Newburg,
Indiana. Steve resides with his family in Fishers,
Indiana.

THE CHURCH THAT SHOULD HAVE DIED
BRADY BOYD
The first personal account ever written about the 2007 mass shooting at New Life Church in Colorado Springs.
In the years following the tragic shooting on the campus
of New Life Church in Colorado Springs, senior pastor
Brady Boyd has received countless questions from the
faithfilled and faithless alike. As the nation watched the
shattered congregation reel from the impact, and then
begin to heal and grow, the most often asked question
became: "How has New Life weathered such a horrible
storm so well?"
In Fear No Evil, Boyd answers that question with
eloquence and grace, offering hope to anyone who is
walking through the "valley of the shadow of death" but
does not want to live there forever.
This story of tragedy and triumph will touch a chord and
offer hope to people everywhere who feel trapped by
doubt or despair. It will throw a lifeline to parents who
have lost a child, the single mom who feels overwhelmed,
the middleaged man starting over after bankruptcy, the
student trying to make sense of life and the world, and
anyone wondering where God is in the midst of suffering.
Pastor Brady is a gifted communicator and teacher
with a passion for speaking practical, relevant
messages that equip and inspire. He is responsible
for leading all the staff and ministries of New Life
Church. Before coming to New Life in August, 2007,
Pastor Brady served as the Associate Senior Pastor
of Gateway Church in the DFW Metroplex. While
there, Gateway grew from 100 to over 12,000 active
members in just six years. Pastor Brady is a
Louisiana native and is a graduate of Louisiana
Tech University. He is married to Pam and they have
two children Abram and Callie. Pastor Brady
enjoys golf, hunting, fishing and spending lots of

LION OF WAR SERIES
CLIFF GRAHAM
The gritty, intense, legendary deeds of the Mighty Men of Israel.
Day of War, author Cliff Graham's first novel, has earned
him a film option for the entire book series Lion of War
from director David L. Cunningham (Path to 9/11) and
producer Grant Curtis (SpiderMan films).
In ancient Israel, at the crossroads of the great trading
routes, a man named Benaiah is searching for a fresh start
in life. He has joined a band of soldiers led by a warlord
named David, seeking to bury the past that refuses to
leave him. Their ragged army is disgruntled and full of
reckless men. Some are loyal to David, but others are only
with him for the promise of captured wealth.
While the ruthless and increasingly mad King Saul
marches hopelessly against the powerful Philistines, loyal
son Jonathan in tow, the land of the Hebrew tribes has
never been more despondent, or more in need of rescue.
Over the course of ten days, from snowy mountain passes
to swordwracked battlefields, Benaiah and his fellow
mercenaries must call upon every skill they have to
survive and establish the throne for David ... if they don't
kill each other first.
Cliff Graham was born in Dallas, Texas, and raised in
Rapid City, South Dakota. He graduated from Black
Hills State University with degrees in political
science and military science and completed his
graduate studies at Liberty Theological Seminary.
His first novel, Day of War, about King David's
mighty men, earned him a film option for the entire
book series from director David L. Cunningham
(Path to 9/11) and producer Grant Curtis (Spider
Man films). Graham is an officer in the United States
Army National Guard and a veteran of Operation
Enduring Freedom, who is currently serving in the
Chaplain Corps and living in the mountains of Utah
with his wife, Cassandra, and their children.

KYLE IDLEMAN
The demands and rewards of being a true disciple.
Are you a follower of Jesus? Don't answer too quickly.
In fact, you may want to read this book before you answer
at all. Consider it a "Define the Relationship"
conversation to determine exactly where you stand. You
may indeed be a passionate, fully devoted follower of
Jesus. Or you may be a fan who admires Jesus but isn't
ready to let him cramp your style. Then again, maybe
you're not into Jesus, period.
In any case, don't take the question lightly.
Some people don't know what they've said yes to, and
other people don't realize what they've said no to, says
Pastor Kyle Idleman. But Jesus is ready to clearly define
the relationship he wants with his followers.
Not a Fan calls you to consider the demands and rewards
of being a true disciple. With frankness sprinkled with
humor, Idleman invites you to live the way Jesus lived,
love the way he loved, pray the way he prayed, and never
give up living for the One who gave his all for you.
Kyle Idleman is the Teaching Pastor at Southeast
Christian Church in Louisville, Kentucky, the 5th

Written by pastor and bestselling author Max Lucado,

readers, The Story for Children is part of the churchwide
campaign for The Story. Vibrant illustrations by
accomplished artist Fausto Bianchi complement the

DIANA GREENWOOD
Insight offers an intriguing plot that will appeal to fans, both teens and adults, of characterdriven fiction and those looking for Christian YA that is on par with books written for the ABA. As a response to the paranormal trend in the market, Insight offers a clean and safe read for teens.
Engrossing historical fiction collides with the paranormal
in this debut novel by Diana Greenwood. Insight is a
comingofage tale narrated by Elvira Witsil, a young
woman who discovers that her young sister, Jessie, is a
seer. When Elvira's family is forced to leave town due to
Jessie's gifts and a strange prophecy surrounding her
father, Elvira discovers healing, forgiveness, and a
burgeoning faith she never thought possible.
Wrought with vivid narration that echoes the classic A
Tree Grows in Brooklyn and a compelling paranormal plot
similar to those found in recent YA blockbusters such as
Beautiful Creatures and The Forest of Hands and Teeth,
this novel will speak to teens who are looking for a
sophisticated and entertaining read with a spiritual spark.
The storyline and plot twists also make this a perfect title
for book groups or teen reading lists.
Diana Greenwood spent her childhood devouring
the adventures of the Bobbsey Twins and writing
poems, stories, and scripts for summer performances
in her backyard. Today, she still has the Bobbsey’s
adventures on her bookshelf, and spends her days
writing poems, articles, and stories of young people
embarking on lifechanging journeys. Diana makes
her home in the Napa Valley, where she enjoys
gardening, watching college football, and
volunteering at her church.
