What’s new at the DCV? Computer and Laptop Accessories Available through the Distribution Centre Victoria (DCV)
In an effort to provide optimal customer service to clients, Shared Services BC (SSBC) is offering a new option for purchasing a variety of computer and laptop accessories through the DCV.
Effective immediately, the DCV will offer an alternative to clients ordering computer and laptop accessories including:
• Port replicators• Docking stations• HDMI, VGA and Display Port cables• Laptop batteries• Mice/Keyboards
DCV’s unique shopping cart order system, allows clients to purchase items using a secure account. Use your existing account with DCV or call customer service to be set up.
Orders are placed through DCV’s online shopping cart system and updated to display the current stock availability on a daily basis. Following the placement and approval of the order, clients can expect to receive their shipment within two to five business days. Clients requesting deliveries for remote locations in BC should anticipate additional shipping time for products to be received.
Note: iStore, in collaboration with DCV, will continue to provide computer and laptop accessories for all new Workstation orders and until government Refresh is complete, which is likely December 2014.
SSBC will continue to update clients as new products are added to the DCV online shopping cart. For additional information on the DCV ordering process, please review the FAQ’s.

With 47,000 square feet of storage, along with offsite options, we can accommodate all your storage requests, including secure storage services in our well organized warehouse, we take safety and security seriously and go beyond best practices to protect your goods.
Management
Inventory management is much more than just storage; we manage time and date-sensitive materials, including batch dates, revisions and re-order points. Clients receive monthly (or on demand) inventory reports which include detailed history of your product movement. We strive to consolidate storage and reduce client costs.
Distribution
Geared towards the end-user, we pick, pack and ship our client’s products ensuring on-time arrival. Ordering can be done via email or integrated with online order forms.
Large volume shipping contracts provide excellent rates with turn-around time generally 1 to 3 days (rush service can also be arranged).

MANAGED INVENTORY (WAMS)
The Distribution Centre Victoria provides Warehousing and Asset Management Services (WAMS) to ministries and BPS clients for forms storage and warehousing and distribution of their products. We continue to expand and explore future opportunities with ministries and BPS clients to look for ways in which we can consolidate warehousing services within government and BPS and find ways in which we can reduce spend and leverage existing strategies.
