A) FIRE EXTINGUISHERSFire Extinguishers:-

A Fire Extinguisher is a cylinder containing an agent capable of extinguishing a fire. The cylinder is pressurized with a gas that will help expel the extinguishing agent.

Fire extinguishers are useful as first aid for fire & used at the initial level of fire







A) FIRE EXTINGUISHERSABC Type of Fire Extinguishers:-

ABC or Multi-Purpose extinguishers comprise of mono ammonium phosphate dry chemical powder. It chemically insulates Class A fires by melting at approximately 350Â°F and coats surface to which it is applied. It smothers and breaks the chain reaction of Class B fires and will not conduct electricity back to the operator & works on class C fires.

A) FIRE EXTINGUISHERSCO2 Type Fire Extinguisher:-

Co2 is a liquefied gas, which is highly effective fighting B and C class of fires. These extinguishers are ideal for areas where contamination and/or clean-up are a concern, such as data processing centers, labs, telecommunication rooms, food storage and processing areas etc.

Extinguisher:-

Dry Chemical powder extinguishers utilize a specially silicon zed Sodium Bicarbonate. It chemically insulates class B , C fires by forming a cloud and cutting off the oxygen supply, thus extinguishing the fire. It smothers and breaks the chain reaction of Class B fires and will not conduct electricity back to the operator.

ExtinguisherFoam has the ability to form an aqueous film which quickly over water-insoluble hydrocarbon fuel surfaces causing rapid fire extinguishment and vapor suppression for class b fires. Also it provides excellent penetrating and wetting qualities when used on class a fires. Hence, foam extinguishers are ideal for fires involving volatile liquids and freely burning materials such as lubricant, oil fires, paper, cloth, wood, etc.

measure or emergency equipment required to fight with fire that comprises a series of components that when assembled together provide a source of water to assist fire authorities in a fire.

Putting it another way, a fire hydrant system is a water supply with a sufficient pressure and flow delivered through pipes throughout a building to strategically located network of Landing valves, Hose reels & Jet monitors for fire-fighting purposes.

C) Sprinkler System & Its Components:- Fire Sprinkler Systems are made up from a series of components including; Stop

Valve, Alarm Valve, Fire Sprinkler (head), Alarm Test Valve and Motorized Alarm Bell (Gong). In addition to this there are additional components that support this arrangement including a Valve Monitor, Pressure Switch and Flow Switch.

Sprinkler Alarm valve

The Alarm Valve is used to control the flow of water into the fire sprinkler system. This is accomplished by providing a one way valve that is normally closed when the water pressure on the fire sprinkler side of the valve exceeds the water supply pressure. When the pressure equalizes or falls below the water supply pressure, the valve opens to enable water flow.

D) Smoke Detection & Fire Alarm Systems

A smoke detector is a device that senses smoke, typically as an indicator of fire. Commercial security devices issue a signal to a fire alarm control panel as part of a fire alarm system, while household detectors, known as smoke alarms, generally issue a local audible or visual alarm from the detector itself.







1) Smoke Detectors

We offer high quality range of Smoke Detectors & various approved brands. It uses photoelectric technology to detect smoke (not heat) and it continually monitors its own sensitivity and operational status. It can be placed up to 2000 feet away from the base unit depending on objects and structures in-between the smoke detector and the base unit.







2) Heat Detectors We also provides Heat Detectors. These detectors are effective to warn about fire hazards at the early stage by detecting the increased heat around the area. 6) Manual Call point The Manual Call Point (MCP) is a surface mounting call

point with a plastic coated glass element to ensure reliable, safe operation. Note that for Red colored devices, it is necessary to order both the MCP and the Wall Box. The call point is operated by snapping the glass element by pressing on its centre – a hammer, or other impact device, is not required. The snapped glass element releases the MCP’s micro switch, which signals an alarm to the fire panel.







7) Fire Alarm Panel Fire Alarm Control Panel (FACP), or Fire Alarm Control

Unit (FACU), is the controlling component of a Fire Alarm System. The panel receives information from environmental sensors designed to detect changes associated with fire, monitors their operational integrity and provides for automatic control of equipment, and transmission of information necessary to prepare the facility for fire based on a predetermined sequence. The panel may also supply electrical energy to operate any associated sensor, control, transmitter, or relay. There are four basic types of panels: coded panels, conventional panels, addressable panels, and multiplex systems.







E) CO2 Flooding Systems

It extinguishes fires using CO2 by suppressing the oxygen content in the space. The CO2 gas has proven to be a fast acting fire extinguishing agent and is effective on deep seated fires in cargo holds.Applications:- Co2 Flooding systems are useful for LT & HT Panels, Server Rooms, Computer Labs, Paint Booths etc.







F) FM 200 Gas Flooding System FM 200 Systems are filled with HFC227ea(heptaflouropropane) commonly known under the trade names Fm200 and FE-227. It has been universally accepted as the most suitable extinguish ant to supersede Halon 1301. It gives superior extinguishing performance, is an environment friendly agent and is safe to use in manned areas. Applications:- Co2 Flooding systems are useful for LT & HT Panels, Server Rooms, Computer Labs, Paint Booths etc.







G) Foam Sprinkler Systems A foam-water system sprinkler system is a special system that is pipe-connected to a source of foam concentrate and to a water supply equipped with appropriate discharge devices for extinguishing agent discharge and for distribution over the area to be protected. The piping system is connected to the water supply through a control valve that is usually actuated by operation of automatic electrical detection equipment or from pneumatically charged sprinkler head detection.This systems can be designed to protect Following:- Ink labs, ink Stores, Paint shops, highly flammable liquid, storages etc.







H) Water Mist Systems A water mist system is a fire

protection system which uses very fine water sprays (i.e. water mist). The small water droplets allow the water mist to control, suppress or extinguish fires by: cooling both the flame and surrounding gases by evaporation. displacing oxygen by evaporation.

This systems can be designed to protect Following:- Electrical Transformers, Electrical room, etc.







I) Medium & High Velocity Water Spray Systems High Velocity Water Spray Nozzles

This system works uniquely effective against fire hazards involving heavy or medium oil.This systems operates using the specifically designed nozzles depending on the fire area , requirement of shape of spray cone and the water flow.Medium velocity water spray sprayers provide a continuous water spray with medium velocity consisting of finely divided water droplets. These systems are ideal in fighting against the fire involving light oils.

This systems can be designed to protect Following:-Oil Refineries, Oil storages, Oil Tank, Transformers, etc.







J) Direct Suppression Systems In this Direct Fire Suppression System, the linear heat sensing cable detects and extinguishes the fire. When a fire is detected, the tube bursts, and at that point forms a nozzle through which the extinguishing agent is sprayed. This is an ideal solution for fires in localized areas.

L) Fire Doors & Safety Doors

An emergency exit in a structure is a special exit for emergencies such as a fire: the combined use of regular and special exits allows for faster evacuation, while it also provides an alternative if the route to the regular exit is blocked by fire, etc.It is usually a strategically located (e.g. in a stairwell, hallway, or other likely place) outward opening door with a crash bar on it and with exit signs leading to it.







M) Fire Retardant Chemicals

Fire retardant is a substance that reduces flammability of fuels or delays their combustion. This includes chemical agents, but may also include substances that work by physical action, such as cooling the fuels, such as fire-fighting foams and fire-retardant gels. Fire retardants are commonly used in fire fighting.







N) Fire blankets

A Fire Blanket is a highly flame-resistant blanket that can be used to either extinguish a small fire or to wrap around a person. They are made from 2 layers of woven glass fibre fabric and an inner layer of fire retardant film. They work by cutting off the oxygen supply (oxygen is one of the three elements that a fire needs to burn) and smothering the fire.
