Complying Development Certificate Checklist The following documentation is required to enable an assessment of your Complying Development Certificate application.
Address: MANDATORY (M) RECEIVED
Fees payable to FORM Building Certifiers if quoted
Application Form completed and returned (no fax copies please)
Copy of the Home Owners Warranty Insurance provided by the builder (if value of work is $12,000 & over) OR Owner Builders Permit (if work is valued at $5000 & over & work is not done by a licensed Builder)
Sydney Water approval (REECE plumbing quick check agent)
PLANS RECEIVED
One (1) copy of architectural plans and Specification ENGINEERING RECEIVED
Three (3) copies of Structural Engineers plans
Three (3) copies of Hydraulic Engineers drainage plans COUNCIL FEES (receipted evidence or payment of all Council fees & bonds) RECEIVED
Receipt for securities or bonds, Section 94 (if applicable)
Receipt for the Long Service Levy Payment if value of work is over $25K OTHER DOCUMENTS/INFORMATION RECEIVED
Tree removal permit (if applicable)
Section 138 permit (if any works are to be carried out on Council property)
BASIX Certificate (if works exceed $50,000)
Planning Certificate (149 Certificate, used to verify if your property complies with complying development legislation and is obtained from your local Council)
88b Instrument (used to verify if the proposed works are breaching any covenants or restrictions on your land) (certifier to obtain on your behalf)
