REGISTERED BEHAVIOR TECHNICIANS are in high demand. That is why Holmes is the first community college in the nation to establish a course (PSY 2543 - Applied Behavior Analysis) centered around this under-served field.
An RBT works directly with individuals with autism and other intellectual and developmental disabilities, and is supervised by a BCaBA, BCBA, or BCBA-D.
Whether you are pursuing credentials to become a licensed RBT, or you are a concerned caregiver that is seeking knowledge about human behavior - this course can be beneficial and rewarding.

HOLMES COMMUNITY COLLEGE IS
THE PLACE TO START.1. APPLY FOR RBT CREDENTIALa) Applicant must be at least 18
years of age and have completed high school or equivalent/higher.
b) Complete 40-hours RBT Training which the passing of the PSY 2543 course will satisfy.
c) Complete RBT Competency As-sessment administered by a BACB certificant following the completion of the 40-hour training requirement. Must be completed no longer than 90 days prior to applying.
d) Must pass a criminal background check and abuse registry check.
2. TAKE THE RBT EXAMMust take and pass the RBT exam. Authorization to take the exam is only provided to applicants who have submitted a complete exam application to the BACB, including all documentation necessary to demonstrate that they have met all of the criteria for RBT credential.
