• Enhancements to search engine– Simpler topic searching– Changes to phrase searching
• Author Finder– Tool for focused author searching in the Web of Science

Enhancements to the search engine
• Improved topic search results– Better results when entering multiple search terms
– Phrase searching is no longer implied
– Use quotation marks to search an exact phrase
– Using wildcard characters and Boolean search operators is still permitted
– Applies to all Web of Knowledge databases, including Web of Science
