Enclosed 4 side Hood Design

Eliminates the need for a ventilation canopy, reduces installation costs, saves up to

3kW per hour in energy consumption !

Hobart are unique in fitting fully enclosed 4 sided hoods to all pass-through dish and utensil

washers. When the hood is raised, steam and heat are drawn up into the hood instead of

being released into the dishroom. Installation and running costs are significantly reduced.

The optional hood insulation provides further energy savings of up to 0.5kW/hr.

e.g.:

Energy saving of 3 kWh per hr. @ 15 Cent/kWh = 45 Cent / hr.

Typical operation where machine in use for 5 hrs./day, 365 days = 821 € p.a.

ENERGY EFFICIENCY


Conventional commercial machines have 2 problems:

1. Most of the hot and fresh rinse water is lost through the

tank overflow system

2. Debris is accumulated in the wash tank - leading to the

need of regular tank water draining and refilling


CONSISTENT PERFORMANCE

� Furthermore all the fresh hot rinse water is kept in the tank for a effective regeneration.

GENIUS-X reduces detergent consumption by up to 30% and reduces the energy

consumption of the tank heater

� The unique Hobart GENIUS-X fine filter system is continuously filtering all debris out of

the wash water and is pumping it to the drain parallel to each cycle. As a result the wash

water is kept much cleaner – less need to drain and refill


Already a few seconds after the start of the wash

cycle most of the debris is catched by the filter

system. The optimised Genius X2 now is taking the

soil out of the filter by a partial drain of 0.4 liter

already a few seconds after cycle start.

High performance tank heater ECOTHERM


A consistently high wash temperature extracts maximum cleaning performance from the

detergent solution. Our ECOTHERM heating element (2.5 kW), ensures a wash temperature around 60°C even during high load operation.

(Standard setting for XX-machines is without interlock of tank heater against booster. AMX has the interlock activated)

The extra heat within the washed ware also improves the drying result !

HOBART research has identified that higher washing temperatures optimize detergent

performance. Chemicals, water pressure and water circulation have much less

importance.



Strainer Control System

Clean wash water and accurate detergent

dosage are key factors in achieving a clean

and hygienic wash result. An efficient filter

system is useless if it is not in the right position.

The new filter control has an interlock which is

continuously monitored by the SMARTRONIC

control. Only if the filter is correctly located the

wash cycle can be activated.




Wide Angle Nozzle

Washing efficiency depends largely on the distribution

of the detergent solution and the avoidance of any

masked areas. Spraying angles and the precision of

the wash jets are vital factors in achieving a powerful,

searching wash action and the new HOBART

designed nozzles provide a substantially broader

and more precise spraying pattern.

Compared with conventional and fixed wash arm

systems the detergent solution is disturbed more

efficiently, masking is avoided and the wash result,

especially in the corners, is considerably improved !

Rinse System ACCURINSE

Ensuring constant temperature and volume of clean

rinse water is vital to achieve not only clean, but

hygienically clean table-ware. The HOBART system

“pulls” rather than “pushes” the rinse water through

the booster and is totally independent of flow

pressure on site thus preventing any mixing with

external cold water.

The ACCURINSE system delivers precisely 2.5l of

fresh water at a constant 80°C+every cycle to ensure

perfect hygiene standards! In addition the precision of

ACCURINSE saves up to 30% water, energy,

detergent and rinse aid.





0-Level Chemical Sensors

The new generation automatically identifies when

detergent or rinse aid is missing.

A clear indication on the display (flashing red)

informs the operator about the status and is

securing the hygienic result indepentend from the

attention of operators.

Finally the machine also automatically is prefilling

the hoses after providing new (full) external

containers.

Hygiene Cycle ACTIVE

Over a period of time dirt particles, starch and sometimes

lime can be build up inside the machine leading to

bacteria and poor machine hygiene.

Together with the specially formulated INTENSIVE tablets

HOBART’s ACTIVE hygiene cycle effectively removes

these deposits from the wash tank and chamber leaving a

clean machine with a fresh smell!

Basic Clean Cycle

New glasses often have a kind of a covering which can not be removed with a

normal cleaning process in the machine -leading to bad rinse/drying results.

Furthermore glasses as well as china tend to build up coverings/deposits during

usage (e.g. starch, other minerals, sometimes even food soil), which also can not

be removed with a normal cleaning process in the machine.

To achieve perfect results glasses and china need to be cleaned manually from

time to time with a high concentrated solution of detergent.

The new Premax can cover this in the machine with a specific cycle

(reduced tank volume 30 l, 360 s, 4l rinse, 68° wash, manual dosing of dedicated powder detergent)

Value for the customer: less manual involvement / treatment of washware to

keep it in optimum condition

Rinse Efficiency


Water Softening System NONSTOP

Limescale is a major cause of poor wash results and machine

problems. Deposits build up on machine parts, in the boiler and

on heating elements reducing efficiency, increasing running

costs and causing failures. Detergent performance is also

significantly reduced !

The optional NONSTOP integral water softening system

provides continuously and automatically soft water production

and eliminates the downtime or extended programme times

typically associated with other integral softener systems. The

dishwasher, and in particular, the heating elements are

maintained in optimum working order for efficient performance !


Consistent Performance

Based on the lower water consumption of the new generation hoodmachine the softener now provides even higher

capacity: 1800 / 1000 / 850 / 180 cycles* with a single filling of salt

*depending on preset of water hardness 7 / 14 / 21 / 30°dH


Better management of operation: additional counters accessible for the customer:

• cycle counter

• water counter

• additional counter for water consumption with possibility for customer to reset to zero

(indication for low level of potential external demineralisation)
