• Rotary Youth Exchange students can spend up to one school year living with host families and attending school in a different country.
• Types of exchanges: – Short or long term exchanges– New Generations exchange

RYLP: The Basics
• Who: 54 selected high school juniors and seniors in District 7690
• When: Third week of July• Where: Guilford College in Greensboro, NC • What: During the week-long program,
students are exposed to a variety of different leadership styles and techniques

The RLYP Selection Process
• Public and Private High Schools: – Principal gives approved applications to Rotarian– Sponsoring Rotary Club submits one Principal RYLP Nominee
and one or more Alternate RYLP Nominees.• Home schooled students:
– Self nominate on line at the Rotary District 7690 web site, http://tinyurl.com/RYLP2010
• The Rotary District 7690 RYLP Selection Committee will review all submitted applications.
• All nominees who are selected to participate in the 2010 RYLP program will then be notified by email.
