Why do we need a new Library?

Existing Library was built in the 1968s

It is over crowded

Outdated and doesnt meet todays standards

Grafton has grown to over 20,000 population

Over half the population are members of the Library.

Cost

It is estimated that the new library will cost $8-$10

Million.

Funding was committed for the project by Page MP,Janelle Staffin, before the last federal election.

The government is honouring its election commitment,$8-million will be allocated to the project.

Application Approved:

Clarence Valley Council approved DevelopmentApplication in late August.

Planning team can now proceed to detailed design andtendering stages of the project.
