Founded in 1947, Kenway Composites is built on a foundation of innovation. The company was an early convert to fiberglass materials and started applying its composites expertise to more demanding corrosion applications for Heavy Industrial customers. Over the last 50-years, Kenway has remained at the forefront of composites manufacturing, specializing in the design, engineering, manufacturing and installation of open-molded, filament wound, and vacuum infused composites structures.
Kenway’s industrial manufacturing expertise is focused on five primary markets: Heavy Industry; Highway Infrastructure; Waterfront Infrastructure; Government & Military; and Specialty Products applications. The company’s various business lines are linked through
technologically advanced manufacturing techniques, manufacturing products for exacting service applications, and the highest quality assurance procedures and processes.
In March 2017, Kenway Composites was acquired by Creative Pultrusions, Inc., who itself is a subsidiary of Hill & Smith Holdings PLC. Kenway Composites has a very diverse background in the designing of complex government and military projects. Over the past 60-years, we developed our techniques for successful execution and support of a variety of composite solutions. Our strength is manufacturing heavy corrosion resistant products through open contact molding and vacuum infusion.
Several major government contractors use our capabilities for their projects because of our design, assembly, and delivery of our composite solutions. Kenway remains flexible and we respond quickly to our customers. Our products are for military and government applications on land, sea, or air.

Kenway is strategically positioned to serve its customers by offering complete engineering and design capabilities, including Finite Element Analysis assessment, and CAD drawings generated in AutoCAD and Solid Works 2017. We bring both standard items as well as “one-off” molded fabrications from the design phase, through the manufacturing phase, to the final on-site installation at the customer’s facility.
