HAPPY BUCKS: Danny Crank – 1.Enjoyed his golf trip to Hilton Head with some of the club members 2.Brought a walking stick that was given to him in 1997 3.Wanted to use the walking stick onthe person who besmirched his reputation at last weeks meeting. (could it have been Big Lu Lu Robinson?) Bob Brandner- 1.Happy the best tennis tournamentwill be in town soon. 2. Glad that this is his 26th year helping out. 3. His vision is finally better.Jane Johnson – Libby tried out for Fairfield High School soccer team as a freshman, she made the JVteam. Very proud Nana!!Bill Schafer – Also gave happy buck for good golf trip to Hilton Head , Bill mentioned when they stopped in Spartanburg getting on the elevator at their hotel he ran into a young lady he has known for 30yrs and then at dinner they say Marcia and Bob Koenig 3.Bill and Beck’s 41st Anniversary. Mike Wolf – He and Karol will be going to Iowa next week, while there they plan on stopping at the American Pickers. Since Mike is old they thought Karol might be able to get a lot of money for him.

John Danks- Celebrating he and Holly’s 52 Wedding Anniversary and will be celebrating at the beach with all their children and grandchildren. Chuck Ramage – Westside Little League made it to the World Series. 2. Granddaughter in the drive, chip and put tournament if she wins she will then goto the Masters.Jim Adams –Start cheering for Miami University Red hawks over University of Cincinnati Bearcats now because Jim is convinced this year the Red Hawks will win.Lou Robinson – Commented that we have a MiamiDreamer in the club. Erich Wittig – Good golf trip with some of the members and thanks to Jason Smith, President Elect for filling in for him. 2. Happy that he made itthrough the railroad gates today.

ANNOUNCEMENTS: Board Meeting – Next board meeting will be Monday, September 11th. Regular Evening Meeting – From now on evening meetings will be the last Wednesday of the month atthe Colligan Lodge 5:30. Special Committee – a committee has been formedand led by Kelly Vereker. The board decided to

have separate socials once a quarter. The committeewill decide when and where these will take place. This will be a good addition, thanks to the memberswho volunteered.Installation of Officers – Wednesday, September 27th, 5:30 at the Silver Tee Restaurant more information to follow. Reds Game-The Ohio Kiwanis Governor announced that all Kiwanis members and family areinvited for Kiwanis day September 17th. See attached flier.New Life Mission Church is having a golf scrambleon Saturday September 17th if anyone is interested contact Erich.Jane Johnson – Passed the directory around today for any changes or additions. Membership – Everyone remember to bring a perspective member to our meetings. There are many good people in our community that would love to join if just asked. We have a membershipcommittee, but this is also a club project also.

Remember together we can make a difference and with an increase in members the more we can help our fellow citizens in need.
