Church Financials

Thank you to everyone who has supported the Stewardship Campaign this year. We have achieved great strides as we shifted to a new fiscal year of October through September. We are experiencing the lean months in our giving. The church still needs your generosity to end the year strong financially. Below you will find the current status of giving:

2015/2016 Annual Budget $ 1,670,564.00 Budgeted Income Received as of August 28 $ 1,442,282.12 pledged and non-pledged, reserves, other income) Needed by September 30 to meet budget $ 228,281.88

Your ongoing support is greatly needed to finish this fiscal year with a balanced budget. Please prayerfully consider 1) Keeping up your pledged and unpledged giving, and 2) Extending your giving to compensate for the potential short fall that may be evident October 1. Your financial generosity supports all the Lord is achieving through our church ministries.

All new singers and ringers (those who were not participating last Spring) are asked to contact Tom Goetz if you are planning to sing or ring this year: 213-5246 or [email protected].

Did You Know?... “54% of Collier County children in Pre-kindergarten through grade three live in non-English speaking homes,

at an age when learning to read is critical.”

Hello again! As the new moderator of the Presbyterian Women, along with the Coordinating Team, we have prepared outstanding programs and activities for the coming 2016-2017 year. You, the women of Moorings Presbyterian are being extended an invitation to partake in any or all of the opportunities of fellowship.

One main focus centers on the Presbyterian Women’s Circles where leaders conduct lessons from scripture. This contributes to greater understanding of God’s word along with how to grow and apply faith in present day living. Each circle chooses a mission to support, to demonstrate care and concern for others.

A second focus is on the Gatherings, held the second Tuesday of the month beginning in November through April. More information will be forthcoming as the first Gathering is scheduled for November 8th. Come and enjoy a delicious lunch where a speaker is featured from the community. A representative promoting a worth-while mission will discuss their contribution for the greater good in our local area.

All Presbyterian women will soon receive a tri-fold pamphlet describing and listing meeting times and locations of the various activities. The Coordinating Team and I look forward to welcoming you in fellowship, friendship and stewardship, further enhancing our community of faith. New members are always welcome. Contact Meredith Holtz at 561-779-4640 for information.
