VISION
CURRICULUM
The G.D. Rungta Educational Society started in the year 1999. The group has grown many folds since then. We have excelled in all the disciplines of education from Dental, Engineering, Science & School. We are determined to follow our mission. We entered into the School Education in 2014 with Rungta Public School, besides as its first venture, this sapling of Rungta Play School was planted on 28/01/18
The Montessori Method of education is a child-centered educational approach based on scientific observations of children from birth to adulthood, developed by Dr. Maria Montessori. A child is naturally eager for knowledge and is capable of initiating learning in a supportive, thoughtfully prepared learning environment. It is an approach that values the human spirit and the development of the whole child — physical, social, emotional and cognitive.
Our teaching staff hold Montessori teaching certificates and have extensive experience in early childhood education. We have regular inspections and training for Staff members.
1. Our curriculum is child centric and thematic which promote cognitive, affective and psycho motor development of a child.
2. We practice Multiple Intelligence Theory (MI) of Dr. Howard Gardner.
3. Our philosophy embraces Dr. Maria Montessori's teaching-learning methodology.
A weekday in the RPS will start as the child comes to the classroom. We have Circle Time in the beginning followed by Art Centre/Block Centre/ Water Play/Writing Center. We have snack time after the Circle Time. Later half includes outdoor education followed by various activities.
To become a global role model for Teaching and Learning through Quality Education.
Endow the students with the knowledge and skill for global leadership and personal fulfillment
5
a) Multiple Intelligence - Activities that ensure the development of all three domains and find out the strongest one. b) Field Trips & Visits - Introduction to the real world with real experience. c) Festival Celebrations - To make the child aware of different cultures. d) Circle Time - Various activities to involve each and every child to share, to learn, & build up confidence and awareness. e) We provide: 1. Safety – All the classrooms have CCTV for full time vigilance. 2. Environment - We offer a neat, clean, healthy and friendly environment. 3. Prompt Communication - Through handbook, SMS and Whatsapp. 4. Audio - Visual teaching through Projector. 5. A Kids pool for water play. 6. Petting zone with safe animals and birds. 7. Gardening experience for students. 8. Developing communication skills of your child. 9. Project Based Learning (PBL).
The School Activities include Literary, Maths, Science, Creative & Cultural Activities. All these are covered through various activities especially designed according to the theme of the week. Some of them are listed below:
Our school is built on the belief that all children can learn. They all start off with great potential in life with tremendous interest in learning. Children at Rungta Play School learn from hands on experience, and we emphasize on developing life skills while allowing children to use their senses to learn. Our well-trained staff to help them overcome any learning barriers.
Our purpose is to give students the ability to learn in a fun environment that encourages education and sets the child free to observe, think, create and draw their own conclusions.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION
Goals: We will work in partnership with the parents to develop independent thinking and children who: Ÿ respect themselves and others. Ÿ feel a sense of belongingness and contribute to their community. Ÿ will accept and include diverse people.
The following are the list of unacceptable behaviour at Rungta Play School : Ÿ Physical abuse or injury of another student or teacher. Ÿ Invalidation of any kind (invalidation: lessening, squashing, make less of). Ÿ Damaging school property or the belongings of others.
BEHAVIOUR POLICY
We do not disseminate any religion in the classroom. Like most secular schools, we employ philosophies with many cultures and beliefs. A statement such as “some people believe” would accompany any remarks concerning religious beliefs. We do encourage parents and staff to share their celebration of a meaning full religious or cultural holidays with us in an age appropriate manner. An open sharing of such customs and beliefs expand the child's understanding of the world. It is also a way to learn acceptance and appreciation for other people's belief and differences.
Nothing that we would do at the school is meant to supersede or interfere with your own personal Teaching. The foundation laid at your home is by far the strongest basis for your child's religious growth. If you feel your child is confused by a school discussion, we encourage you to reinforce our statement that this is what “some people believe”.
RELIGION
Parent conferences are offered at regular interval in a year in our school, although they may be scheduled at any time if a parent has a concern. Parents are strongly encouraged to attend these conferences to gain a better understanding of their child's progress. Teachers will observe and record information on children's development. We will share the information with you, learn from your knowledge of your child, and together plan for more opportunities to grow. The teachers will keep you up to date on news or events on a daily basis with the handbook, SMS, Whats App group and phone calls.
PARENTS’ MEETING
Please call the school to let us know if your child will be absent. It would be helpful for us to know if your child will not be coming to school on a particular day or days. This is especially true on days when field trips have been planned.
In general, children should be in good health to participate in a full day's activities at school, including outdoor play. Specifically, children with vomiting, diarrhoea, or fever in the past 24 hours and children with any communicable diseases or parasites may not be at school. If a child becomes ill while at school, the parent(s)/guardian(s) will be contacted to pick up their child immediately.
