the City of Bristol in conjunction with the State of Connecticut bought the property in 1988, making Bristol the maintainers of the

State owned property. Today, Nelson’s Field is an Inland Wetland site that is set aside for passive recreation. It is the only

Bristol park in which drone use is permitted. Nelson’s Field is the perfect location for

winter sledding and spring bird-watching.

Vacation Camps

Youth ages 6-12 will meet at Stafford School Gym 9am - 3pm for a variety of activities, sports and entertainment. Camp will included a trip to SpareTime for bowling/laser tag, and other special visitors and trips! For a complete schedule visit www.bristolrec.com.

In order to streamline the form process, the General Authorization, Health, Behavior, and Concussion forms will now be available on your online Bristol Parks and Recreation account and may be filled out in advanced or at the time of registration. These forms will be valid for one year, so you will not need to redo them for summer camp. We are demoing this process with our vacation camps, so we appreciate your patience in testing this feature. Red Cross Lay Responder $50

The American Red Cross First Aid/CPR/AED program helps participants respond to medical emergencies. This pro-
