Specificity:Specific for the C-terminal region of the connexin 45 (Cx45, GJA7, gap junction alpha-7) protein. On western blots, it identifies the target bands at ~45 and 50 kDa. The band at ~50 kDa represents the phosphorylated form of the protein, while a band observed at ~35 kDa represents a breakdown product in overexpressed cells.

Mouse anti-Nitrated Tau/α-Synuclein

Immunogen:Nitrated recombinant human α-Synuclein(1).

Specificity:Specific for nitrated tau and nitrated α-synuclein. On western blots, it identifies the nitrated tau target band at ~55-62 kDa. It also reacts with the nitrated α-synuclein target band at ~17 kDa. This antibody preferentially recognizes nitrated human tau40 in addition to nitrated human α-synuclein and dimers with an apparent molecular weight of 35 kDa.
