WAGO has added several new functions to the e!COCKPIT Engineering Soft-ware, preparing it for tomorrow’s applications. e!COCKPIT turns a WAGO PFC into an EtherCAT® Master in no time at all. Like other fieldbus configurators, the configurator is fully integrated. The new topology view provides an over-view of the entire physical structure.

The integrated telecontrol technology configurators for DNP3 and IEC 60870 slaves open up new fields of applications in telecontrol technolo-gy when using e!COCKPIT. A French language version is now available with the release of e!COCKPIT Version 1.5.

In addition to the 2nd generation of the PFC family, the new WAGO Touch Panel devices with touch and control functionality are also integrated.

Visualization and Operation WAGO Touch Panels 600

WAGO has developed the new, high-performance Touch Panels 600 for demanding control and visualization tasks in industry and building tech-nology. Three versions are available that have been tailored for use as a Web Panel, Visu Panel or Control Panel. Practical features such as an energy-saving standby function, integrated sensors for automatic brightness adjustment and an easy-to-mount design make installation and operation simple. All Touch Panels 600 have the future-ready Linux® operating system. When configuring with e!COCKPIT, visualizations are created based on modern technologies such as HTML5.

EtherCAT® slaves can be integrated into a control system: All EtherCAT® slave devices can be controlled from the controller.

Fieldbus configurable: EtherCAT® Master can be configured for all 2nd generation PFC200 versions.

WAGO is rounding out its range of controllers with the Controller PFC200 G2, 4ETH, CAN, USB. The new PFC200 can operate as an I-Device (slave) under a PROFINET con-troller in a PROFINET network and opens up new opportunities in the network. It is now also equipped with four ETHERNET interfaces that can connect other subnets, such as the control level or for connecting directly to visualization devices. The device complies with PROFINET Conformance Class B and sup-ports the PROFINET MRP protocol in the client role.

Energy Management Worldwide WAGO 3-Phase Power Measurement Modules for New Networks and Voltages

Secure Signal Acquisition and Maximum PrecisionWAGO 4-Channel Analog Input Module with Multipoint Inputs

The new 4-channel analog input module (750-471) expands the WAGO-I/O-SYSTEM with four electrically isolated analog inputs. Galvanic isolation of the input channels increases immunity to interference and enables safe signal detection in distributed systems with potential differences (e.g., in marine and offshore applications). At the same time, the 16-bit resolution offers high precision for control and regulation tasks. The channels’ measure-ment ranges can be parameterized channel-by-channel and extend into the millivolt range:

Wireless data transmission is now commonplace in machinery and equipment applications. WAGO’s Wireless ETHERNET Gateway (758-918), which meets the IP65 de-gree of protection and has an internal directional antenna, is ideal for harsh industrial environments.

Power Supply

For successful energy management, consumption values of machines and systems must be known. With the 3-phase power transducers in a DIN-rail-mount enclosure, WAGO offers the ideal solution – remotely from the control level – to measure currents and voltages in a three-phase supply network. The current is measured via WAGO's current transformers or Ro-gowski coils that can be connected directly. Measured variables such as active/apparent/reactive power, energy consumption, power factor, phase angle and frequency can be accessed via Modbus® interface. Two integrated RJ-45 sockets streamline the interconnection of up to 32 devices. In addition, the 3-phase power transducer can log the corresponding measured vari-ables onto a microSD card.

Simple configuration and display of measured variables using WAGO's interface configuration software enable the user to perform comprehensive data analysis.

Measurement – Directly at the Power Supply WAGO Current Transformer with Voltage Tap for WAGO 2-Conductor Through Terminal Blocks

WAGO’s family of current transformers continues to grow. In addition to 50 mm² (1/0 AWG) and 95 mm² (4/0 AWG) versions, the right current and voltage tap for the 185 mm2 (350 kcmil) through terminal block (855-1851/350-000) is also available for WAGO’s 285 Series High-Current Through Terminal Block. The integrated current transformer for the new tap has a transmission ratio of 350 A/1 A and fulfills accuracy class 0.5 per DIN EN 61869-2.

Each current transformer with voltage tap has the same width as the corresponding 2-conductor through terminal blocks for easy mounting into the jumper slot. To protect the connected devices, fuses with detectors are integrated into the voltage path.

The new 2042 Series Pluggable Modules can be directly plugged into the WAGO Rail-Mount Terminal Blocks TOPJOB® S and are available as relays, solid state relays and switching modules. The modules can be easily bridged via the rail-mount terminal block system for error-free installation and easy retrofitting.

Readily withstanding temperature fluctuations, vibration and shock, the modules meet the mechanical requirements of EN 61373, EN 50155 and EN 61010, making them ideal for rail operations and demanding industrial applications. Use in non-shielded areas is also possible due to an immunity to interference according to EN 50121-3-2. Ready for use in an extended temperature range of −40°C to +70°C, these modules eliminate the need for air conditioning in the control cabinet.
