 In the all bodies which age, some proteins change the normal state to abnormally folded, and accumulate in some tissues, but does not happen quickly.

amyloid fibrils.

The amyloids fibrils possibly pass to a toxic state quickly and produce the amyloids diseases.

The amyloids diseases include Parkinson's, Alzheimer's, heart disease and type 2 diabetes.
