IU Said YES— Congratulations! Get Ready for New Student Orientation How do you become an official IU Hoosier? Start by attending the required two-day New Student Orientation (NSO) program in Bloomington this summer. It’s a great way to connect with campus: you’ll learn what it means to be an IU student, you’ll meet with an advisor and register for your fall semester classes, you’ll hear from an IU faculty member, and you’ll connect with current and other new students. You can even spend the night in a residence hall with other new students and our staff. Now that’s a true orientation to college life.

First Things First Now that you’ve been admitted, there are a few things you need to do:

Complete your Intent to Enroll form and pay your $100.00 deposit at intenttoenroll.indiana.edu so we know to invite you to NSO. We will begin to send invitations in mid-March. Once you’re invited, you’ll choose your preferred orientation dates.

Set up your IU email at ams.iu.edu and choose how you want to receive email. Do this now so you don’t miss important IU information.

Go to fafsa.gov to complete your Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA).

Go to rps.indiana.edu/admitted.cfml to fill out your on-campus housing application.

Questions? Read about us, call us, email us—we’re here for you. Join our Facebook and Twitter families for updates and announcements.
